You will love our brand new house! This house was built in 2005 and you can be some of the first tenants to enjoy this special get-away. The house has a very open, clean feel. The house was furnished by one of the islands top store owners and designers. We are an easy 5 - 10 minute walk (half of a mile) to the center of town. We are conveniently located around the corner from the delicious Nantucket Bake Shop and across the street from a new wonderful take out gourmet shop! Inside there is a beautiful stainless kitchen well equipped for wonderful meal preparation. The kitchen is part of the great room - this set up is ideal for entertaining and just simply hanging out with your family. This area opens up to a beautiful outdoor patio with a new gas grill and enjoyable outdoor seating. The upstairs of the house features a master bedroom, cozy room with twin beds, as well as a bedroom with a queen bed. These rooms all have access to a bathrooms with custom stone tile.

Description of the House : We have a beautiful stainless kitchen well equipped for wonderful meal preparation. The kitchen is part of the great room - this set up is ideal for entertaining and just simply hanging out with your family. This area opens up to a beautiful outdoor patio with a new gas grill and outdoor seating for your enjoyment. In addition to the kitchen and great room, the first floor of the house has two bathrooms, an office with a pull out double sofa and computer table as well as a bedroom with a queen sized bed. The wall hangings as well as the furniture are all what you would expect in a new Nantucket home! The floors throughout the home are beautiful wood floors.

Continued Description of the house : All items in the house are brand new and are of the quality that you would expect during a Nantucket vacation. This includes towels, sheets, kitchen items and all furnishings. The upstairs of the house features a master bedroom, cozy room with twin beds, as well as a bedroom with a queen bed. These rooms all have access to bathrooms with custom stone tile work. The master bedroom has walk in closets, Cable TV and a bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and contemporary black and white tile work.

Wonderful for families, no smoking : Our home is perfect for families with children who are looking for a fun, relaxing get away on Nantucket! We will work very hard to make sure you have everything you need for a perfect vacation. Please, no smoking

We have rented this house for two years in a row over Thanksgiving. The owner is SO nice and very, very helpful. Totally accommodating.
The house is just amazing. It is brand new, very light and modern. The layout is perfect for families. The house has new linens, bedding and towels and has every appliance in the kitchen that you could ever imagine. The location is amazing, a quick walk to town and minutes to Murrays and Stop and Shop. Also, the neighbors are very nice and helpful. I recommend this house anytime for any family!

Great Location, fully stocked new house!

We come to Nantucket every summer, this is our first time staying close to town and in this house. We wanted to walk to town. All our whole family can say is if you can get a week in this house, rent it!!! It is AMAZING, nicer than our house that we live in year round!!!

We had one of our best vacations! Six of us stayed in this house which has a wonderful layout and plenty of space!

We LOVED the location. The house is SO close to downtown, literally less than a 10 minute walk! All the streets downtown have traffic and are busy, and that is a very fun and exciting part of staying downtown! We really loved being so close to town! We were not at all bothered by the noise/husstle bussle of downtown Nantucket. The house is brand new and you could have been in the most quiet part of the island when inside the house! Just wonderful!!!!

The neighbors on Back street are very nice. We did not have any experience with any dog barking or other noise. As a matter of fact, one neighbor actually had a 'happy hour' and invited us!!!

More on location - the grocery store (Stop and Shop) is very close to the house as well as Marine, the Nantucket Bake shop and Sfiglio wine, cheese and gourmet items shop.

The house is FULLY stocked. From toasters to Pinini makers to full sets of beautiful dishes. We made Pinini sandwhichs to bring to the beach each morning :)!

The beds have really nice new sheets and bed covers that are from Crate and Barell, the towels all have Bloomingdales tags on them!

The owner and I spoke many times prior to our arrival, she was so nice and so helpful. In addition, we requested some information from the owner and we received this info with a quick response.

We cannot wait to go back!

Great house in convenient to town location

Had a very good experience at this rental.

+ Owner could not have been more helpful and friendly.
+ House was in great shape. New construction and great open floor plan. Very conducive to family gatherings.
+ House well supplied although it took us a few days to find everything.
+ Convenient location! Two minutes to major grocery store. 10 minute walk to Main Street. Quick walk to cheese/wine and bakery shops.
+ Especially fabulous master suite with amazing bathroom and closet space!

- Reality is Pleasant Street is not a quiet street. A lot of trucks going up and down it at all hours. Noise kept some up at night while others were able to sleep with their windows open without problem.
- During our week, the neighbors had some very annoying, barking dogs that they let out to bark until midnight. May have been renters, as well.....we never went over to ask.
