Be our guest (4max) in any season, unwind and relax in this unique 100% newly renovated (Brazilian Cherry wood floors in the entire house with exception of kitchen, Italian tile on kitchen floor, Italian tiles back splash, eating in kitchen) 3 bedroom 1 bathroom cape house. Located 5 minutes walking distance from Lake Tashmoo and 2 tennis courts for your enjoyment and 15 minutes to great downtown shopping area of Vineyard Haven and 20 minutes from ferry boats, biking paths, walking trails and/or if you would like to enjoy and relax in woods and have a great outside in our 2 (gas) and (charcoal) grills for a super BBQ, where you and your family can enjoy, this house will give you just that! With a full front and side deck. 2 bikes, Internet Access (DSL) via Ethernet cable/USB or just wireless, a nice comfortable hammock for your relaxing outside, patio table with benches, chairs, and umbrella to enjoy your BBQ. Beautiful gas/heat fireplace and land telephone available.

The entire experience of renting this property was outstanding! The owners made it very easy to rent the property and send the necessary information.
The property was very clean and neat. All the necessary amenities were available.
I would recommend this property to friends and relatives.
It is located five minutes from the ferry.

A Charming Beach Cottage!

This cottage is truly a home away from home. We were welcomed with a lovely note and a bottle of wine from the owners. Their home is exquisitely decorated with charming decor of the Vineyard. Every room was immaculate, filled with everything you could ever need while on vacation. The owners were very accommodating, and this cozy cottage made our stay on the Vineyard so relaxing. You can't go wrong with this lovely gem.

Nice Retreat

We spent 10 nights here and found it to be quite nice. The location is "off the beaten path" which made for peaceful relaxation, yet close enough to town as to be convenient for shopping and restaurants. Everything was as presented in the photos & we were very pleased with the many warm touches of this home.
The cell service is still sketchy, but there is a land line for local & emergency calls and the wi-fi worked well. The reason for a 4 star rating has nothing to do with the home itself, we just found the dirt road entrance to be tiresome after 11 days & the poor cell service to be frustrating. Other than those 2 issues it has been one of the nicest rentals we have had on the Island.

We loved this cozy, comfortable cottage. Everything was clean and welcoming upon arrival. The kitchen is well equipped. We had everything we needed. The Garcias were very responsive and great to work with. We would stay in this lovely home again.

Great little house. Not your typical rental. Very clean and comfortable. Noisy dog across the street and cell reception were our only complaints. We have rented many houses in this area, but this is the only that we would rent again. Owners were very easy to work with.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
