This mountain top retreat is located at Rumbling Bald Resort on beautiful Lake Lure, North Carolina. Set atop a mountain in this private, gated community, Alpine Retreat is a recently renovated five bedroom home which sleeps 10 people. This mountain home has decking on three levels as well as an attached gazebo. All modern conveniences are present including washer and dryer, satellite television, a gourmet kitchen, and master bath with whirlpool tub. Rumbling Bald Resort features two mountain golf courses, indoor and outdoor pools, a beachfront lake, tennis courts, basketball courts, a spa with massage and beauty treatments, and a fitness center with sauna and steam room. Kayak, canoe or boat rentals are available at the lakeside marina. Local attractions include Chimney Rock, Asheville, and the Biltmore Estate. Enjoy the year round beauty of this Blue Ridge Mountain retreat.

This house was wonderful. My family had a great vacation and the owner of this home is great. She was so easy to work with, extremely helpful, and very informative. I loved our stay at this home and plan to rent it again.
