Florencia is a new Mediterranean-style complex where natural wonders, the relaxation of Ole River (Intracoastal Waterway) and luxurious world-class amenities join together for a unique vacation experience. It is situated on the Intracoastal Waterway and is bordered by Perdido Key State Park and is a short stroll (300 feet) from Gulf beaches. Truly the best of all worlds, upscale resort living in a laid-back beach atmosphere. 1,850 sq. ft., 3 bedroom and 3.5 bath unit. Italian tile throughout. King size bed in master, as well as sitting area and direct access to balcony. Queen size beds are in the other two bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, shower and TV/DVD player. Fully equipped kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and plenty of storage space. 42' LCD TV with HIGH DEFINITION cable and DVD player in living room. Wireless internet is included. Spectacular view of Ole River and pristine Perdido Key State Park from the balcony.

Championship golf at the Arnold Palmer designed Lost Key Golf Club is directly across the street. Home town style restaurants are on Perdido Key with excellent seafood and pizza. More restaurants and shopping are in nearby Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. Orange Beach is home to the Wharf, which has great restaurants, shopping and an Ampitheatre. Sun-Roc Cay is between Perdido Key and Orange Beach and has great boutique shops and restaurants. Gulf Shores has a water park and an Outlet mall. Perdido Key is famous for its Deep-Sea and Sport fishing.

The beaches of Perdido Key are widely considered some of the best in the United States, and the secluded beaches of Perdido State Park is a short stroll, or drive, from Florencia (less than 1/10th of a mile to the public access parking lot and beach).

We had a great time during our week at this condo. There were 8 people in all. We found it to be comfortable, clean and very home-like. Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area is a quick 10-15 minutes. Outlet mall in Foley was about 35-40 minutes away. The beach was nice and not overcrowded. We spent a lot of time on the balcony. It has nice furniture and great view. The mattresses and linens on the beds were very comfortable- it was truly like staying in someone's home, rather than a condo.
I would recommend this condo to anyone wanting to go this area. The owners always had prompt, friendly communication. Even though we did not know them, they treated us like guests in their home.
