Guestbook comments from the manager
Our family stayed at Endless Summer June 7-14, 2014 and the house worked out extremely well for us. There were 8 adults, and 4 children aged 11 months to 7 years old. We rented the house through Ocean Reef Resorts and they were very professional and timely in dealing with us. area was large and easily accommodated our group. The entertainment center including TV, DVD player, stereo and wireless internet worked well. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies, and featured 2 dishwashers and a separate ice machine (great for entertaining and filling coolers for beach trips). In the main house
there were three good-sized bedrooms, each with a separate bath and flat-screen TV. The top floor bunk room was perfect for the three older children (with a rented toddler bed added). Furnishing and décor were pleasant and comfortable for families with kids. The two screened in porches on the second and third floors were a nice addition for
mornings, evenings and cooler days. The first floor porch overlooking the pool was a popular gathering place – especially the porch swing! The attached cottage (with separate bedroom, bath, flat screen TV and kitchenette) at the back of the property was comfortable and a great getaway for Grandpa and Grandma. Everyone really enjoyed having the small pool at the back of the house. The kids used it every day and adults liked cooling off there after walks or trips to the beach. We especially appreciated this when the beautiful community pool was closed for two days during our visit. The patio around the pool was ample for everyone to sit outside in deck chairs and lounges. Here are some things to improve. None of the deadbolt locks in the house worked. This was only a worry for the door leading to the third floor porch (not screened in), since the kids could get out to this very high porch. Another small issue was the step-downs from the front porch to the sidewalk (poorly lit – several people tripped there at night) and from the house to the back porch (green tape was there to help, but not really enough). Finally, be aware that this house is at the very back of Seacrest Beach North, so the walk to the community pool and town is longer than from some other houses.
Overall we really liked this house and would definitely stay there again.
