Guest Book Entry: My family really enjoyed our visit to 'A Little TLC'. We visited at the end of August and enjoyed kayaking on the New River. We rented our kayaks right up the road at 'Riverside'. We enjoyed dinner at the Todd General Store where we listened to a Bluegrass band while dining outside in the mountain air. Of course, we took in the sights from the spa and loved the beautiful scenery, the hummingbirds were everywhere. We even got up early to see the sunrise and were pleasantly surprised by the deer in the meadow below the property. It was truly relaxing and wonderful. We will be back! Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us.

Guest Book Entry: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin this year. A week is so much better than a weekend, but of course, still not enough. The weather was perfect, with a well-needed shower Friday afternoon (even though we were planning on mini-golf and Boone Gardens). My father brought my five-year-old up on Saturday and the four of us went to Tweetsie Railroad. We loved it. My husband and I packed a picnic and headed up on the Parkway on Monday. A friend and I headed up to Banner Elk on Tuesday to the Natural Healing Day Spa. That was absolutely wonderful. We have decided that we are definitely going to retire to the Appalachians-at least for half the year. I just hate that we have to wait another eleven months to head back up next year. Thank you so much for giving us a place to spend our vacation every year. I can't imagine a more idyllic place to spend a week. You can see all the way to Boone in one direction and Johnson City (at least I assume) in the other.

Guest Book Entry: 'Our Graduation Weekend ' 'We stayed at the cabin this past May for our child's graduation from App. State. The cabin is located in the most peaceful, relaxing area. It was wonderful to walk out on the deck and see rabbits eating clover. On the road to the cabin, we saw a field with 20+ deer feeding. We took advantage of the local trail rides and had a blast. Everyone was so nice. The cabin is located far enough from the hustle and bustle of Boone but close enough to get there without fighting traffic. The rooms were large and clean. The hot tub on the deck provided a relaxing spot after the long days. I hope to visit again soon.'
