Great price for a fabulous location

We really enjoyed our stay at Condado beach. The condo was easy to find, the security staff was friendly and helpful as were the residents, and the studio was as described.
It was nice to be in a tourist area without being at a resort surrounded by tourists. We had the pool all to ourselves most days, which would never happen at a typical hotel. At the same time, we were right across the street from the Marriott and could take advantage of their casino as well as the beachfront (note that they only rent chairs and umbrellas to guests, however).
The condo was quiet, however there was quite a bit of street noise at night, particularly on the weekend. If you are a light sleeper you may need earplugs or white noise.
The best part about staying here was the wide variety of excellent restaurants within walking distance. Some of our favorites included:
Cafe Orozco- Exit the building to the left and go a couple blocks. Great cheap breakfast/sandwich menu.
Yerba Buena - Exit to the right one block. Try the pumpkin fritters.
Pamelas - Exit to the right and walk about 20 minutes. Get a table on the beach and enjoy a romantic view.
Via Appia - 2 doors down from Yerba Buena. Great Italian-style pizza.
Exit the building to the right and go about 3 blocks to the EOS market for food, drink, and supplies. There is a Starbucks to the left, and there are Walgreens in either direction.
There is free Wi-Fi in the lobby (get the WPA code from the security desk or 2nd floor admin office) and we were even able to get the signal in the unit.
There is no microwave in the unit but there is one on the 2nd floor (as well as vending machines, a fitness center, and laundromat).
All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the owner was extremely helpful throughout. Thanks for everything!
Owner's Response: Thanks for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope you come back soon. Since the apartment is in a tourist area, it can get busy late at night on Saturdays, but not all the time. We sometimes sleep with the windows open to enjoy the breeze. But on those nights we close every window and put the A/C on and sleep very comfortable. There is no microwave, but there is a small toaster oven.
