Hi Daniel....thanks again for everything!!!

We had a wonderful time.We hiked to the top of Diamond Head, took a helicopter ride over Waikiki Beach, went to a luau, went sailing on a catamaran, had an hour photo shoot with my son ( in his dress whites) on the West Shore and ate at a lot of fun places....not to mention laying on the beach everyday. Life doesn't get much better!!



I will definetly be contacting you again in the future for our next visit...

Far better than adequate!

My husband and I were more than comfortable for 5 nights in this condo unit. We found this place very clean and neat. We really enjoyed the feel of the clean marble floor. The bedding was exceptionally comfortable because it was all high quality. The towels were also plentiful as well as high quality. The air conditioning unit ran well and was on the quiet side. We enjoyed fresh fish from the market and we were able to prepare it in the small kitchen. The kitchen was very small but had everything a traveler could enjoy to prepare something in - for lunch or dinner. The location of this unit is highly desirable and centrally located. My husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be delighted to return!

I have to say, this is truly a gem in Waikiki. We have visited the island several times and this the most comfortable I've felt away from my own home; this place has a very "homey" feel. The studio is very clean and well laid out, perfect for two people. The bed is so comfy. It was nice to just sink in, relax, and watch TV at the end of a long sun-filled day. The kitchen isn't big, but it's clean and perfect for cooking meals (we called it the one-person kitchen lol). The location is great; right across from the zoo & a stones throw to the beach. From the front of the hotel or 10th floor deck, you can also see the movie screen Sunset on the beach & all the activities that happen over there. The wall of windows in the studio looked out to nice greenery, which was great to see rather than the alley-way. There's a little pool out back, but the ocean is so close we never used it. There's no communal grill on the grounds (that we found), which would have been amazing for dinner time), but it wasn't a necessity. I love this side of Waikiki, walking distance to everything but far enough from the majorly "touristy" stuff. I encourage you to take a walk up Kapalulu St. for more local flavor; Uncle Bo's has good drinks and excellent Pupus (appetizers), Waiola Shave Ice is like heaven in your mouth, Rainbow drive-in of course for breakfast/lunch, Leonard's Bakery, and some really great little local Sushi & Hawaiian restraunts can be found that way. Kuhio Ave also has some great low-key stops for food or drinks, away from the hustle & bustle of the touristy places. If you aren't in the mood to go far from "home" Lulus has great food and live entertainment at night. Hula's bar is also really fun and can be pretty busy on the weekends... While we knew this was a gay bar, it was a surprise to see male go-go dancers~ it was fun & everyone was so nice. You can't hear a peep from the party in any parts of the hotel (great walls for an old building. Oh, grab the Oahu deals booklets, there's tons of discounts in them.

Even though this is a private condo, the front staff were exceptional, very inviting, and helpful. Great people. The owner was also wonderful to work with from beginning to end. Any time I had a question, he would respond to email within a couple hours and was always very pleasant. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family that aren't looking for the "resort" feel and just want a great low-key place to stay.

For example, a new HD TV , cable service, new windows, and Tommy Bahama beach chairs enhance the already cozy ambience of the condo. We also made full use the full kitchen, king size bed , abundant towels and linens and convenient location to the beaches bus stops, walking paths, stores and restaurants. Our favorite eating places are Teddy’s Burgers in the Hotel and a few blocks to M’s Oceanview Café ( aka, McDonald’s) With the ultimate views on the Hotel’s patio and access to most of the island’s attractions, we went on daily hikes, weekly north shore trips, and shopping excursions. In other words, a stay at Daniel’s condo makes for our ideal vacation. Daniel is very attuned to his guests needs and therefore we come back annually for our major vacation.

AMAZINGLY PERFECT!!!

We love it! Everything is exactly like what's in the pictures and the listing description, except the tv. I think the tv is much bigger now. The unit is very clean and the bed was very comfortable and huge. It has everything that you might need for a pleasant vacation - beach chairs and umbrella, bath and beach towels, cooking utensils, glasses, cups, etc. The contact person in Waikiki was very helpful with everything I needed and responded right away. Everything was easily accessible. The beach is just a few steps away and the zoo is just across the street. The best restaurants and stores are just a few minutes away. It's the best place my wife and I have ever stayed in at Waikiki. We love it and we'll definitely be back and possibly even next year! We would highly recommend this place to anybody who's looking for the perfect place in Waikiki. TEN STARS!!!

Perfect for us ... it will be perfect for you!

This was our second stay in Daniel's studio in Waikiki. First time was two years ago for a week; this time sixteen nights! We love this place .. we can't wait to plan our next trip and will absolutely, definitely stay here again!

Real estate agents always talk about LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! This place has it ... steps away from the corner of Kalakaua and Kapahulu, directly across from the Honolulu Zoo and Kapiolani Park, a few steps to a Starbucks and an ABC store (the iconic store of Hawaii), and a bus stop that takes you anywhere on Island .. another few steps away.

Waikiki is fun, but it can be noisy and have too many people .. this is located at the quiet end of Waikiki, but walking distance to restaurants, shops and touristy things, if that is what you like to do.

The studio itself is everything as described, and more. It is spotless upon your arrival. Everything shines. It even smells clean!

We like having the keyless entry; saves on wondering 'where is that key?' You will like that, too.

The kitchen and bathroom are fully stocked. Towels and washcloths in the bathroom are spotless and are full and fluffy; not the hard, scratchy kind you find sometimes as you travel.

The 'living area' of the studio is well planned. Since our last visit, Daniel has upgraded the TV to a HUGE one (on the wall now) and replaced the TV unit with a nice dresser. Takes up much less space and looks nicer! A new chair and ottoman was a great addition.

The bed is large and comfortable. Sheets are top grade. Pillows are, too.

Lots of storage all around .. bed side tables, ottomans, boxes .. nice touch.

There is a free computer in the lobby. A hint: make friends with the Waikiki Grand staff .. although you aren't 'connected' to them, it doesn't hurt to introduce yourself and be friendly.

Pay washer and dryer in the basement .. all good.

As for Danny, this is an owner who genuinely cares that you are enjoying yourself in his home. He is always available and takes care of things 'right now'.

I would highly recommend this property. You won't be disappointed. I promise.
