The Villa is located on a hillside overlooking the ocean, mid-way between the duty-free shopping town of Philipsburg, and world-famous Orient Beach. Many wonderful beaches and restaurants nearby.

Our on-island host will meet you at the airport, get you to your car rental agency, escort you to the Villa, and be available your entire vacation stay to answer any of your questions, or assist in any way.

Great beach House

We vacationed with our 80 year old parents in May of 2008.

The house is very roomy with plenty of room to spread out. It has a great big kitchen and a gas grill if you are cooking in. The upper terrace is great and overlooks the water. We had our morning tea and coffee out there. We spent little time in the house, as the back patio has all you need for a great time. Lots of sun on the side, a great big shady area for those who are fairer and a teriffic pool to cool down in. the proximity to Dawn beach is great! the wireless was great too.

Best about the house was dealing with the owner Dave and his on island host Mixie. We were met at the airport with delicous cold beverages and Mixie helped us with car rental and got us to the house and explained all the necessary stuff. He gave us a cell phone for use on the island and his number to call if we needed anything. He also set us up for breakfast so we didn't have to shop immediately. Oh and did I mention the stocked bar? how could I forget!

It was a great experience and I would recommend staying at Villa Sunrise!

Comfortable and secure home base high above Dawn Beach. Every day we went out to a different beach around the island. The kids were up early swimming in the pool while the rest of us planned the day. Some days we started with a hike down to the beach below us. Other days we sat out with our iPhones, iPads and laptops on the back patio to get caught up on what was happening in the world before driving to yet another beautiful spot.
Friendly people everywhere - including the guard at the gate to this neighborhood.
The food on this island is tough to leave. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. We used the grill on the patio one night and enjoyed that too.
All in all one of my favorite vacations. This house was a big part of that experience.

We had a wonderful time!! Someone met us at the airport, with drinks in hand and personally showed us this property. The fridge was stocked with food for adults and children, as well as the bar. The owners were wonderful and very gracious. Thank you so much!

Wonderful Experience

Villa Sunrise is tremendous. Not only were we met at the airport with a personal escort to the Villa (by our ever helpful island host "Mixie"), but we got a quick tour of important locations on the island, use of a cell phone for the duration of the stay, and arrived to a stocked fridge and cold drinks. The Villa is very well located (5 minutes to beautiful Dawn beach) and well maintained. It is nice to be in a friendly and safe feeling gated community. The highlight for us was the outdoor living space with a dining table and shaded sitting area furnished with great sofas and chairs. The private pool was a huge hit with our children, it was warm and clear. While nothing is very far on St Maarten, we appreciated the proximity to our favourite beaches: Le Gallion, Orient, and of course Dawn.
