Whether you prefer the sugar white beaches or the huge crystal clear pool, it is all at Destin West. In addition to the gentle ocean waves, you can relax on an inner tube ride around our 700 foot Lazy River, complete with a giant waterfall and lagoon style pool. If that's not enough, your kids can enjoy the children's water park. Everything is INCLUDED with the cost of your room. If you choose to eat in, you'll have everything you need to prepare your favorite dish in the fully stocked kitchen that includes all of the amenities from home. If dining out is more your style, there is no need to drive because it is a very short stroll to the finest dining and entertainment that the Gulf Coast has to offer.

Great Condo and Location!

This was a great location right on the beach overlooking the pool. One flight of stars and you were either steps to the pool or beach. My children loved this vacation spot. The lazy river was just across the walkway, not a long walk at all. The condo was clean and cozy. Destin just a couple miles over the bridge to the waterpark, outlet mall, deepsea fishing excursions etc. We are planning to be back next summer!

Excellent condo, clean, would like to be there right now. An easy walk to the beach, lazy river was nice and a variety of pools available but not enough pool furniture (people would put towels on furniture and leave). Maybe a brochure with a map or directions to various restaurants and nighttime activities. Thanks for everything it made our girls getaway a successful hit, we plan on coming back.

Great for family!

We stayed at the property in Feb time frame with our two small children and it was perfect! The location was great and the condo was very child friendly. It was definately a home away from home. The amenities in the condo could not have been better. I highly recommend the property. It has something for everyone. As well as it is within walking distance of a play ground for kids, shopping, and dining!

Ehh, It was alright. In between average and good

Well upon arrival we had an issue with the front desk. They told us because we weren't 25 that they weren't going to allow us to stay even though the owner told us you only had to be 21. The front desk lady then got very angry and was rude to us during the entire check-in. She kept telling us she would kick us out if we act up, it was really quite ridiculous. The room was pretty nice except there were a lot of scratches and marks on the walls. The bunk area is made for people 5-6 and shorter which we did not expect. When we saw that it slept 8, we expected 8 comfortably but this was not the case. The bathrooms were nice and the balcony was relaxing because you could see the ocean. The residents down there were great. They were extremely friendly and welcoming. Overall it was a pretty good place, but I was really disappointed with the front desk staff and the room description was a little misleading.
Owner's Response: When they asked to be allowed to have 8 guest in condo I specifically told them there were only beds for 6 and he said that would not be a problem, they all wanted to stay together. The room description only states that there is a king bed, bunk beds and a sleeper sofa. There is nothing misleading about that. I do not remember being told how old the guest were. If I was then that was my mistake. As for the front desk we apologize for them being rude, that is beyond our control.

Great Place. We stayed there in August 2007 (me, wife and 2 kids). plenty of room, very clean, great view and a fabulous property. beach + pool + lazy river = fun.
