Situated on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan, this woodframe cottage on a large corner lot is just steps to the beach. An enclosed front porch and large rear deck provide ample space for BBQs and viewing sunsets over the lake. Large yard for badminton, croquet, etc. The four bedroom cottage and detached (unheated) bunkhouse accommodates up to eleven people (pets welcome). There is a separate dining room, liviing room, and den with fireplace. The cottage is one block from the new library (for internet), three blocks from business district and marina, and one mile from airfield. Great for family retreats any season of the year. Three major ski resorts are within a half hour drive.

The house ideally sleeps six plus two to three in bunkhouse.

We loved the cozy character of this house and proximity to the water. We appreciated the fact we could easily walk downtown to restaurants and shops, or to the wonderful library with easy computer access, yet we were far enough from downtown to avoid the noisy traffic and nosy tourists. We lived like locals!
