A very comfy King bed w/Plush pillow-top mattress & dresser in your bedroom, all linens & towels are provided, living area has a 42' LCD TV, writing desk for your personal business and Wireless Hi speed internet access is available; sofa , 2 Very Comfy Chairs, one is a Rocker/Recliner other comfy chair has an ottoman.

Kitchen is equipped with full size appliances; electric range, refrigerator w/ice maker, built-in microwave, disposal, dishwasher & water softener.

For your convenience there is a washer & dryer in a Laundry closet off the east facing patio; where the warm Morning sun Greets You! And this is so very nice because the desert can get very cool at night!

This property is within walking distance to 'Desert Hills recreation center', where you will find a heated swimming pool, hot tub, sanua, workout room and much more.

Green Valley Recreation Centers: The Green Valley Recreation Centers are located throughout the community and offer a variety of activities including swimming pools, tennis, workout facilities, dances, crafts, cards and activity trips. For a nominal fee, membership is included.

Tucson,Tubac and Nogales are all an easy short drive, 20 to 40 minutes.

Your Patio: The sunshine greets you each morning from your private patio with unobstructed views of the 'Desert Hill's golf range' and Santa Rita mountain range in the back ground... the wild life that can be seen adds to the interest of the landscape!

    All monthly rentals begin on the 1st of the month ..

    2 weeks stays are booked .. either the 1st two weeks of a month or the last 2 weeks of the month...

    Rental Policy:

    1st month's rent & cleaning fee payable at time of booking ; if less then 90 days out, Reservations are
    not guaranteed until payments are received and Contract is Signed.

    Balance of rent is due 90 days prior to arrival.

    A Deposit of $500.00 is due at the time of leasing and totally refundable;
    after departure if there is no damage to property besides normal wear.

What a view!

We were very fortunate to find this Desert Hills Casita when we visited southern Arizona in Feb/Mar 2009. The view from the patio and sofa was fabulous. The complex is very quiet and the unit was very well equipped. We couldn't have asked for a better landlady - Sharon was very willing to make our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Green Valley is a great place to visit for a relaxing and restful holiday. The golf courses, recreation centers and the many area attractions kept us busy during our four week stay. If you plan to visit this part of Arizona, check out this rental unit.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Sightseeing

Million dollar view

This casita is well furnished and comfortable. The view of the Santa Rita Mountains is superb. Both of my sisters were living in the area while we were there (March 2012) and they had views but we agreed ours won first prize!
We definitely would stay in this casita again. It is off the main road and peaceful and private yet with ready access to all that the area offers.

Yes, the view is wonderful !

We enjoyed the Casita in Desert Hills very much. Each day we had a wildlife experience down on the golf course below in the canyon..or right outside our patio door.. Havelina Mom with baby came to visit, put the noses right up the closed patiodoor..(stay away, they can be nasty if provoked). We were glad to take a close up look and that the door was closed..Havelinas are also called "Skunkpigs" for a reason,lthough, they are not pigs but peccary.Bobcat with kitten one night and Coyotes several times..The birdlife is very intense and the rabbit population increasing. A lot of sightseeing available around the area if you are not spending the time on one of the many Golf courses or recreational center. Found several nice restaurants in the different golf clubs..and other local restaurants. Our two months came and went too fast. Thank you Sharon !

We spent two delightful weeks in Sharon's casita. What a relaxing wonderful place for a retreat. All the comforts of home without the stress....We enjoyed the open space of the golf course behind the casita...the visits of the roadrunner and the coyotes we saw on the course. Our favorite part of the visit was being able to attend the Social Center for exercises and activities. That was such a fun way to get involved in the activity of the community. Sharon was a great hostess and helped us get around with maps and suggestions for our visit. There are so many sites to see and things to do within easy driving distance. Our stay was the last two weeks in January '09. It is worth the stay...thanks, Sharon...
