This beautifully decorated log cabin is located on a rural mountaintop and surrounded by forests, laurel thickets, and many varieties of wildlife. Enjoy many outdoors activities such as hiking the Appalachian Trail, exploring the wild horse colonies of Grayson Highlands State Park (called the 'sweetest miles of the AT [Appalachian Trail]' by Backpacker Magazine, August 2007), or taking a drive along the Blue Ridge Parkway. There are stocked trout streams and many historical places in the surrounding areas to explore. This log home is perfect for your next romatic getaway, family gathering, or business retreat! The kitchen is well equipped and all linens are provided. Relax on the big wrap around porches as dusk falls or as the sun rises over the crest and enjoy nature at its finest as the turkeys fly over the ridge, or the deer emerge from their resting places in the laurels. Don't forget your camera!

Two Sisters, Troutdale, VA is minutes away from many state and national parks with great fishing, amazing bike trails, and some of the finest hiking trails in the south. The changing of the seasons makes every day a new and different experience in these amazing mountains. Even though it is located in such a remote area, it is still very close to many urban attractions such as the Bristol Motor Speedway (1.5 hours), the Lincoln Theatre in Marion (.5 hours), and Galewinds Amusement Park in Wytheville (1 hour).

    This three story modern log cabin may be rented as a whole, or as one of two separate rentals. Both units have kitchen and laundry facilities, and the lower unit is all on ground level.

    Special Privacy Request: If you wish to rent the main upper unit and the lower unit has not been booked for the time you are requesting, you may request that the lower unit not be rented during your stay.
