Located Lakefront in Island Pond this property will give any renter year round activities. Snowmobiling Island Pond's 10,000 miles of trails, or hitting the lake for an afternoon of fun in the sun, this property offers fun for all. With deer, moose and hunting season renters can enjoy their favorite sports. It is perfect for retreats, reunions and family vacations. Adventurers can hike, hunt, cross country ski, skate swim, kayak, fish, explore a nearby state park with boat rentals all within walking distance of our cottage. You can enjoy bass and trout fishing all year long. Kingdom Trails in nearby Burke offers 100 miles of mountain biking trails. During the winter months enjoy snowmobiling right out the front door with lake access to thousands of groomed snowmobile trails. Both Burke mountain and Jay Peak both within 45 minutes from Island Pond provide a ski experience to be remembered.

''Located in the heart of Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, in the town of Brighton, you will find the village of Island Pond which is renowned for it's distinctive four seasons. One can go to an area bog or just a short drive around town and see a newborn moose, fawn, bear cub and other wildlife. Summer allows natures ability to be expressed in a pristine setting. With two great campgrounds and plenty of forestland to explore, you will have the best time of you life while visiting the 'Northeast Kingdom'. Fall glows with a unique cover of brilliant colors. Hunting season begins and our area is renowned for some of the largest deer in VT. Bow Season, Moose Season, Deer Season or whatever season it is. You will find it in the 'Northeast Kingdom'. The snowmobilers then start to arrive in droves, as our area is well know for its great snowmobile trails over 10,000 miles long along with ice fishing and ATV riding.' from Island Pond, August '07
