This 4 bedroomed luxury house, in the sought after area of Bahia de Marbella, is perfectly located for beach-lovers and golfers alike. A private gate from the complex gives direct access to one of the best sandy beaches in the area. There are numerous golf courses nearby, with Santa Clara, Rio Real and Marbella being just a couple of minutes away. For nightlife and shopping, the centre of Marbella is 5 minutes drive away and Puerto Banus just a few minutes further on. The house is fully equipped with air conditioning, and is professionally managed. The house has its own private garden, making the house ideal for families. There are also communal tropical gardens surrounding the two swimming pools. From the terraces, which are perfect locations for a late breakfast or an evening aperitif, there are beautiful views of the sea and the coast in one direction, and the mountains in the other.

Bahia de Marbella is an exclusive beachside area just 5 minutes drive from the centre of Marbella town. The house itself is set on the Pueblo Mediterraneo community which is right on the beach front, with its own private gate to the Los Monteros beach. Golfers are well catered for, with Rio Real, Marbella and Santa Clara courses within a couple of minutes drive, and numerous other courses within easy reach. The historic centres of Ronda, Gibraltar, Malaga and, of course, Granada with its Alhambra Palace provide sightseeing opportunities. A car is essential for easy access to supermarkets and shopping.

  • A deposit of £200 per week is payable on booking and the full balance is required 8 weeks prior to arrival. The short term rates include cleaning, electricity and linen, including beach towels.
    Please note that the house is available from 4pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on departure to allow full cleaning and maintenance of the house between stays. If you have a night flight, please consider booking an extra night.

The house: The house is arranged over three floors and has four bedrooms (one king size, two twin and a double) and four bathrooms. It comfortably accommodates 8 people. It is air conditioned (heating if required in the winter) and has marble floors throughout. The spacious living/dining room has French windows, which lead out, onto a covered dining area, and into the private patio garden. With English TV, video, hi-fi and even a piano, it can really be a home from home. Both the outside and inside dining tables seat 8. The kitchen is fully equipped, including oven, hob, refrigerator, freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There is plenty of cooking equipment, crockery, glasses and cutlery. The separate laundry area has a washing machine and space to dry clothes. Beach equipment (including deckchairs, umbrella) are stored here. There is also a cloakroom and shower room on the ground floor - useful when returning from the beach.

The first floor has two twin bedrooms, a double bedroom, a bathroom and a shower room. All bedrooms have large fitted wardrobes and comfortable English-made beds. Two of the rooms lead out onto a terrace, furnished with table and chairs. The master bedroom suite is on the top floor, and has a king size bed, fitted wardrobes in a dressing area and a large bathroom. Patio windows lead out onto a spacious terrace with breathtaking views to the mountains and, on a clear day, along the coast to Gibraltar and Africa. The house is professionally cleaned and all linen (including beach towels) is provided. The complex is well maintained, with tropical gardens, two pools, underground parking and a gate office with security guard. In busier periods, there is a cafe for the use of residents.

Local activities: Eating out is one of the attractions of staying here. El Mangaleta, just moments from the house is known for its seafood. Los Sardinales and Los Canos, just beyond Los Monteros Hotel, are also Spanish beach restaurants. They are both very welcoming and serve good food. If you wish to get away from the beach, Marbella centre is approximately 5 minutes drive, and Puerto Banus 10 minutes. Both have numerous restaurants and excellent shopping. The Canada shopping mall is 5 minutes away. It has a hypermarket, as well as many high street stores, such as Zara and Mango. There are many nearby markets, including Marbella on Mondays and Puerto Banus on Saturdays. Tax free shopping is available in Gibraltar. Further afield, the house is well placed for day trips to places such as Gibraltar, Granada (and the Alhambra Palace) and Ronda. Malaga, with its new Picasso museum, is also worth a visit.

Wir waren 4 Paare und vom 12.-26. Juni 2009 in dem Haus. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet und die Beschreibung trifft gut zu. Die Anlage ist sehr schön und gepflegt, ebenso die Wohnung. Erstklassisch ist die Lage, sowohl die Entfernung zum Meer als auch die Nähe zum Pool. Nicht unbedingt ein Minus, aber ein ausreichend großer Sonnenschutz für die Terrasse müsste vorhanden sein und mehr Handtücher. Wir können das Haus auf jeden Fall empfehlen, wenn es auch ein wenig hellhörig ist und man selbst zum Brötchen holen ein Auto benötigte. Durch die absolut großartige Lage wird man für diese kleinen Schönheitsfehler bestens entschädigt.
