Beautiful 5 Bedroom 4 baths, a sparkling blue pool, and spacious living areas are all across the street from the beach. The house is situated in a beautiful residential neighborhood. There is a path leading to the beach directly across the street from the house. The living room has two sitting areas and a wood burning fireplace. The kitchen is fully stocked with lots of room for wonderful family gatherings. There is lots of room on the wrap-around deck for dining and grilling.

Dining and shopping are all within a short distance walking or driving. Sullivan's Island has wonderful family parks, tennis courts and basketball courts. Bike and golf-cart rentals are available through local vendors. Visit the historic city of Charleston by a short 15 minute drive. This home is managed by the owners and their office manager. Both live in Charleston and are easily contacted if needed.

Outdoor Living Space: This home features three decks. The third floor deck, which is located off of the Master-Suite, has beautiful views of surrounding area.

The main floor of the house has wrap-around deck, which overlooks the pool, backyard, and the side of the house. This deck is partially screened, with a table and chairs designed for outdoor dining. There is also an area that is not screened, with built in seating and an outdoor charcoal grill.

The first floor deck is a paved area surrounding the beautiful pool, which is approximately 18 x 40. This area offers lots of sun and shade from the upper deck and is surrounded by a privacy fence and lush shrubbery.

The pool is perfect for laps and is serviced twice weekly during the summer months.

Perfect for bachelorette party!

The house was great for 9 people for a get away. The best thing is really the number of bathrooms for getting ready. To have four full bathrooms- and an extra outdoor shower is really great. The house is also within reasonable walking distance 1/2 mile maybe from all of the bars/restaurants on the island. It was nice to be able to walk for a night of drinking and be able to walk back home. Also it is really close to beach access as well which is very convenient.

The house was clean when we arrived and all of the beds were made with clean linens. It is very nice to be able to even rent beach towels since we were all flying in from various parts of the country. I would absolutely stay at this great house again!

The booking person was very personable and very helpful before and during our stay.
The location was as stated-street across from ocean. Unfortunately, it was windy and cold while we were there and spent little time walking the beach.
The house was clean and well-maintained, even though the house was a little dated. The master bedroom and bath were very nice, but the others needed to be updated. Even though, we used mostly paper products, there could have been more dishes and glasses.
Sullivans Island is close to good restaurants and the many activities in Charleston.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: The house is the perfect location for easy access to the beach. Thank you for letting us know the glasses and dishes are dwindling down. It is so helpful when guest let us know if certain items are needed. With lots of eating areas inside and outside of the beautiful screened in deck, and a large open kitchen for gatherings, we know that having a well supplied kitchen is important to our guests.

Shared minor issues with Linda. Had a great time for a family wedding. Had plenty of space and things went well with linen rentals.The SPIRAL staircase is a challenge for master suite. A wonderful location for our Stella Maris Catholic Church wedding and the Sand Dunes Club reception!!!!!!!!

Fabulous House

This house is even better than the pictures! Very roomy, we had 5 couples and didn't feel at all on top of each other. The porch and deck are great, private with view of pool to keep an eye on the little ones. Large area around pool for entertaining as well. Plenty yard for playing cornhole or volleyball. Master bedroom on 3rd floor has sitting area, desk, large dressing area with walk-in closet and an outdoor patio. Spiral staircase is a unique touch. House was very clean, well-maintained yard, short walk to the beach. Could not have asked for anything more!

A Delightful Holiday House

The house is well equipped and very comfortable.Its location is just about perfect.
Linda is an extremely helpul and responsive owner/ agent.We did have problems with some of the faucets in two of the bathrooms - but these were dealt with promptly.
Linda is clearly in the process of progressively modernising and generally improving the property (routine maintenance is always tricky with a house like this - which ,as you will see from the calendar, is occupied for mostt of the year ).

In a previous review, there was a criticism about the beds not being very comfortable - you may be relieved to know that Linda has put that right, all of the beds are now perfect.

Before we arrived we were just a little concerned regarding the proximity of the Sullivan's Island Club, over the road, and the possibility of being disturbed by late night noise. - In fact, during the three weeks we were there, there was no noise at all - and apart from a couple of weddings, the place appeared to be almost deserted.

We would have no hesitation in recommending this property to friends and relatives and, if we were visiting Sullivan's Island again, we would look forward to staying at this house again.
