Located in the former 1920's Atkinson Boot Manufacturing company building, this is one of the most unique spaces you will come across. This new Condo development combines both the old structural quality of the original structure with the modern feel of new construction. Twelve foot ceilings, with the original exposed concrete columns and I-beams, and salvaged windows used as accents in the interior of this condo all lend to this mix of old and new. Curved interior walls and a 'funky' little loft make this condo an interesting and comfortable 'home' base for your Ludington Vacation. This condo has just been completed and is outfitted with all new furnishings. Walk to the eclectic collection of shops where you'll find everything from antiques to fine art to collectibles to souvenirs and everything in between. There are also restaurants, the Brewpub and the House of Flavors ice cream parlor within walking distance.

Ludington, Michigan is located just 1.5 hours north of Grand Rapids, Michigan or about 4 hours from both Chicago and Detroit. Ludington is also accessible by the S.S. Badger Car-ferry from the port of Manitowoc, Wisconsin. A four hour adventure. One of the most beautiful beaches in the world is located 5 blocks away. Walk out to the Ludington Lighthouse on the breakwater and then take some time to explore it inside and out. Also about 6 miles away is Ludington State Park, a great place to explore, beach comb, hike or bike. Take a tour of the Big Sable Lighthouse located in the park. It is also open to the public and the view from the top is spectacular. Golf, fishing, hiking, biking, swimming are all nearby. Come 'home' after a day of play and adventure to enjoy a home-cooked meal while going over the day's fun and making your plans for the next day. After dinner relax in the heated pool or hot tub to unwind after your day at play.

Great Time at the Loft

My family really enjoyed our time at the Loft at Ludington. The condo has everything that you could need for your vacation - comfort, space, amenities, location. And most importantly, good folks to work with on the other end.

The Loft is a great home base for a great vacation, whether heading to the city beach, the many nearby state parks, or the Silver Lake Dunes - which we loved.

And if not from Michigan, make sure to go to House of Flavors for some great ice cream...

Wonderful Vacation

We stayed at the "loft at ludington" mid-July. The loft was wonderful, well equipped with everything needed. It had a great porch to relax on and was right next to the harbor. Jeff and Cindy were great to work with! We loved your place and would love to go back. Easy access to playground, beach, bars and resturants. We traveled with 5 adults and one child under 2 and there was plenty of room to spread out.

Fun, relaxing vacation

Our family was looking for a vacation setting in northern Michigan, and found the Loft at Ludington. It looked like a perfect setting for our family. When we arrived, we found that it was absolutely wonderful for us. There was plenty of space for our young daughter to be able to play. The living room/dining area were very comfortable, and there was a fully stocked kitchen with all of the supplies we could need. We were able to cook many of our meals (although we did check out a couple of local restaurants as well.) There were many places we could walk to, which was very convenient and fun. The beds were very comfortable, and the extra loft was a lot of fun too! We took full advantage of the indoor swimming pool, and loved the fact that we could open up the garage-type of doors and have access to the patio to enjoy the sunshine. We were fortunate to have great weather so we could enjoy the State Park and the beautiful City Beach also. Our daughter loved the big playground that was nearby. We visited House of Flavors many times--my husband wanted to taste all of the 36 flavors of ice cream! We did not quite make it, so we just might have to return! This was a great, relaxing, fun vacation!

Long Weekend Retreat

This is a great condo with lots of space to spread out and relax. The location was great, right near the marina and walking distance to all the great downtown shops. We even walked to the beach a couple of times. The games provided were also nice for when we were in the condo. We enjoyed some great meals out and even cooked at the condo and ate on the wonderful patio.
