I am pleased to offer my cottage in Wells, Maine for rent. It is part of the Beach Dreams Community and it is in the best location in the development! The cottage is in Tide Pool Village and it is set back so you have a view of the woods. There is plenty of grass area around the cottage for you to enjoy! The cottage is right across from the clubhouse and pool. This unit offers a gas fireplace and a Jacuzzi bathtub. It has a brand new washer & dryer and gas grill. It sleeps up to 6 people (1 queen bed, 2 twin beds, and a queen sleeper sofa). It has a three season porch with nice views. The drapes are all Waverly Fabric and it has been decorated with a very comfortable feel. About 1 mile from Moody Beach and there is a Trolley stop right in front of Beach Dreams that will take you to other area beaches. The cottage is in Tide Pool Village and is unit #110.

There is so much to do in this area! There is excellent fishing (stripers and blue fish), biking, boating & kayaking, golfing, beautiful beaches, many-many great restaurants, quaint shops and some of the nicest people you will meet!

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rates are $750/wk to $1,250/wk depending on season. There is a $200.00 refundable security deposit.
  • June 26th to September 4th - $1,250/wk - May, June, September, & October - $750/wk
    The last week of June - $950/wk
    There is an additional 7% Maine Rental Tax and an additional $60.00
    cleaning charge if you prefer not to do your own cleaning.
    Wells/Ogunquit is beautiful in the fall - this is the best season in my opinion!
  • June 28th to August 23rd - $1,200/wk - May, June, September, & October - $700/wk
    The last week of June and last week of August - $900/wk
    There is an additional 7% Maine Rental Tax and an additional $60.00
    cleaning charge if you prefer not to do your own cleaning.

We have been vacationing in the Wells area for several years now staying in local hotel suites. This is our 2nd year renting this cottage and we hope to come back for several years to come. We are so fortunate to have found it! The owner is wonderful. It does feel a lot like home in a sense that you have everything you could possibly need. The cottage is spotless, located on one of the best sites at Beach Dreams and it even has great neighbors! I wouldn't expect less than a 5 star rating, see for yourself!

The perfect home away from home

You could tell that a great deal of thought and care went into this rental. It pleased the eye as we opened the front door. If you like to do some cooking, the kitchen was supplied with everything needed. We made an apple pie one day and pancakes for breakfast. Mornings were spent walking Drakes Island Beach which is just down the road. Afternoons we searched for lobster shacks as that was why we came to Maine. In doing so we saw a lot of coastal Maine. The weather was perfect for this time of year. Not a cloud in sight. We loved the cottage, the area and will return.

A Wonderful Home Away From Home

This was the nicest cottage we have ever stayed in. Everything was just as described in the listing and very comfortable, clean and relaxing. The welcome basket waiting for us when we arrived had all of our favorite goodies in it and was very much appreciated. The attention to detail was evident and made for a great, worry free vacation. Can't wait to come back again!

Great Family Vacation

We are a large family with a long history ( over 20 years) of vacationing in Maine. We have rented many large homes, cottages, etc.. over the years. We really appreciated all of the amenties that this cottage and complex had to offer. From the very clean, well appointed cottages, to the swimming pool, gym, and central location. We range in age from 7 to 85years old and each of us found our vacation very enjoyable. We will definitely be back again!!!

The Perfect Retreat

The attention to details from the owner made our vacation great! Our favorite drinks and snacks were waiting for us when we arrived, a binder with area attractions and restaurants, a grill, beach chairs, and board games were just a few of the extras that we enjoyed. It is obvious that the owner wants her guests to be comfortable.

The cottage is a great retreat. We really enjoyed the sun room the most… a cool drink, a good book, comfortable chairs and a sea breeze. Perfect!
