Las Vegas Vacation Rental condo

We stayed in this suite Oct. 21-26 2009. We were very disappointed when we saw the room. The carpet and upholstered furniture are very dirty and need to be cleaned. I did not want to walk in my bare feet. I did not want to sit on the furniture. Our first impression of the bedding was that the bed was not made and that the linens may not have been changed. The bedding is very worn. The pillows should be replaced with new. The duvet cover was soiled and when laundered the stains were not removed. Even the mattress should be replaced or at best mattress should be flipped over and turned around. The bathroom sink, toilet and shower had been cleaned however the floors had not. The tub had not been used however it had not been cleaned as it was covered in dust. We only had two small bars of soap in the bathroom. The bath products are basic quality. The suite may have been vacuumed however they missed under the bed. I called the cleaning company and they assured me they had cleaned the suite. They did drop off more bars of soap. They agreed the carpet and furniture are very dirty however they were not paid to clean it. I asked the Concierge about the garbage and she advised she could not help me. So when I asked the cleaning company they advised to put garbage in a bag and leave outside the suite even though this was not part of the agreement with Housekeeping. There was a limited amount of dishes. Some may have been broken and never replaced. There is no plug for the sink. There is a food waste disposer however with no plug it is difficult to wash dishes. The balcony was also very dirty and the windows also needed to be cleaned. Overall this suite needs a total makeover. My sister stayed in a similar room booked through the hotel and her room was very clean and the bedding looked brand new. Pressed duvet cover, excellent pillows etc. The view from the room is spectacular and the Concierge at the Hotel was very helpful. The pools are very nice and service excellent. We liked the location. The suite should be inspected by a reputable source to ascertain the condition. When we rented from the owner he advised he had never been to see his suite however he advised he had a cleaning company in place.
