When we arrived at the villa it looked amazing from the outside.Unfortunately when we entered there was a strong smell of animals. On looking further there was animal hair every where. Obviously the cleaner hadn't cleaned very well. My daughter who is allergic to animals ended up vacuuming from top to bottom the first night we arrived. Luckily we spent most days out of doors so she coped. Also the swimming pool and hot tub weren't working when we got there. I reported this straight away and this was rectified as soon as was possible. On the whole we had a fantastic holiday. The villa was situated close enough to everywhere we wanted to go. It was very roomy and nicely decorated. We could have done with a few more brochures for things to do. Saying that we did do an airboat ride which was brilliant. We wanted to do a helicopter ride as well, unfortunately it rained the day we were going to do it so they weren't flying. Something to do for next time though. Went to Univeral Studios, Aquatica, Wet 'n' Wild and Sea World. All were excellent. We ate at the Longhorn Restaurant and Ponderosa. If you go make sure you are hungry, the food is excellent, and so cheap. If you hire a car make sure you hire a Sat Nav. The first couple of times we went we didn't have one. What a difference it made having it. We didn't get lost once. All in all a fantastic holiday. Great place to stay once cleaned. People are so friendly over there. Can't wait till next time.
Owner's Response: The property is advertised as a non pet home specifically to avoid a future guest with any form of pet allergy arriving, should not have a bad experience. It was most disturbing to find that a previous guest had brought an animal with them that we were unaware off, and as soon as we were made aware of the situation we brought new air filters and completed another vacuuming of the house once the guests were out at the parks.
As soon as any maintenance issues are notified we react immediately, in this instance we already had a new motherboard for the hot tub on order from the manufacturer and this was replaced as soon as it arrived. We are very pleased however that the guests still managed to enjoy their vacation.
