The Grand Nobile Salon: The main salon of Palazzo Massarucci, located on the second level is 130 square meters with large southeast and northwest facing windows overlooking the forests and hills of the Massa Martana. It boasts 40 meters of restored frescoes from the 16th century depicting mythological scenes and masonic symbolism. Honeycomb wood ceilings hover at heights of eight meters.
Lovingly Restored: Lovingly restored, Palazzo Massarucci retains most original features including frescoes, hand hewn wood doors and gates, ironwork and hand made terracotta tile floors and the original crest of the Massarucci family that adorns the arched ceiling of the entrance hall.
The Views: The views are breathtaking, magnificent; vast forests of the massa martana, the cities of Spoleto and Assisi and scattered, pink-stone country farm houses. A litany of color and perfume all year around. Watch the moon rise between a crag in the mountain, so close you could hold it in your hand. Palazzo Massarucci is a powerfully sensuous property!
