Our Mammoth condo is located in the Summit complex - across and down the street from Eagle Lodge (chair 15) -- a 1 bedroom that sleeps 6, with a queen bed in the bedroom, a queen sleeper sofa and a bunk bed (full bed on the bottom, twin bed on top) in the living room. There is underground parking with an assigned space, elevator service, a couple of jacuzzis right outside the building, a nice weight room (as if skiing or boarding or biking or hiking wasn't enough exercise for you!) and a laundry room down the hallway. The shuttle stops right outside the building door (seasonal service; first stop from the mountain resort/Eagle Lodge in wintertime) if you don’t want to walk up the street. There is also a fireplace in the unit and a full kitchen, and in the summertime, the tennis courts and pools are open. We are not a reservations company; we are private owners of this condo, hence we can charge much lower rates!

We are not a reservations company (we did contract with one but their service and cleaning were not impressive), just a family who own a vacation condo we use as a family getaway ourselves and also rent out to others to help cover the mortgage.
Nancy Oliphant purchased this condo in 2004
We stayed in many different condo complexes in Mammoth before settling on The Summit to buy a unit in, appreciating the garage parking (no digging the car out under snow!), elevators (no lugging gear up flights of stairs at high altitude!) and close proximity to the resort. The pools and amenity areas are kept clean by the staff and we love having jacuzzis right outside our building.
Great holiday value, we stayed twice for 4 days we stayed 11-27 to 12 -1 for Thanksgiving and the other time 12-19 to 12-24. The place is not fancy but clean and comfortable as mentioned other reviews. If you’re looking for a comfortable place to stay without breaking the bank this is the place also the owner was so easy to work with even answered an email question within an hour on Thanksgiving Day. We went with another couple Thanksgiving and there was plenty of room, never felt cramped and then the 2nd trip was just the two of us making it feel like our own little home. I would defiantly stay again.
it was a very nice and cozy place... thank you!
the property was clean and well-maintained, good customer service from the owner and i would highly recommend the place or i would even stay again!
I can't say enough good things about our stay in Mammoth. Starting with the booking, the owners of this condo went above and beyond. There are extremely friendly, helpful and genuinely concerned that our group had the best trip possible. Our arrival was just as described in the welcome letter. Good underground parking and elevator service. We arrived in the evening and were very pleased to walk into a very tidy, well-kept condo. Beyond the normal things you would expect to find, the condo included board games, movies, and extra stuff for fun in the snow. It was as comfortable as home. The kitchen came with everything needed to cook meals. The bathroom was clean and stocked with towels. There was plenty of sleeping room and room to relax in the living room. Although our group did not include children, this would be a perfect location for kids. The hot tubs are a short walk from the condo and well maintained. The bus stops right in front of the building so access to the mountain was very easy. I would highly recommend this location and hope I will get to stay again during my next visit. Thanks!!!
My two teenage sons and I arrived after 4 days of camping in Yosemite looking to upgrade our accomodations and do some mountian biking. The condo was in ready for us when we got there. Electronic lock on the door made checking in a breeze. No hunting down a key from a property manager. Parking underground was perfect. lots of board games, a well equipped kitchen, and a comfy bed fit the bill. The bunk beds were perfect for the boys and the queen master bed fit my 6' frame.
Plenty of kitchen stuff including the small touched like coffee for the morning kept us from having to make that late night grovery run. Location was at the bottom of Juniper biking run, so it was convenient for an end of day bike ride. Site is even better for winter. Hot tub and pool were perfect for end of day relaxing. It was a quiet and well stocked condo. Highly recommended.
