Small comfortable apartment in Prato, near Florence, for tourism, work, study, in a strategic position. Prato is an artistic and industrial town near Florence, well served by highways, rapid rail link with Bologna, Milan, Rome, Venice. Only 15 km from the airport of Florence, 80 km from the airport of Pisa and Bologna. The apartment is near the hills, served by a near bus line reaching the railway station in 15 minutes. It is at ground level and has a very comfortable double sofa bed, two very comfortable single beds. office place, corner of study with computer and internet without limits, and all the comforts (gas boiler heating, washing machine, dishwasher, TV, DVD, very efficient air conditioner). It is also equipped with an ample individual garage for the car, just attached. It is ideal for those wishing to stay close to Florence and in Tuscany, to travel,study and work in an accommodation with all the conveniences, with running expenses ALL INCLUDED, and at very low cost

  • Payment is requested at the moment of arrival. A deposit is requested at the booking.

  • The apartment is equipped with separate shower bathroom with hot and cold water. The bathroom has a window opening on the exterior, and is complete with toilet, bidet, sink, with air heater and electric heater for rapid warming. All sanitary appliances are nearly new.

  • The apartment has two rooms, as well as a separate compartment for the kitchen, a separate compartment for the bathroom, another for the shower, and a small terrace. The first room, at the entrance, has the main function of office and living room, with a large working desk and a computer corner complete with printer and Internet broadband connection (ADSL) without any limitation, included the printer laser. In the room there is also a drawing table. In the same room there is the sofa, easily convertible into a double bed, very comfortable.There is also a very comfortable convertibel bed (pull down bed) The room leads also to a very large closet with shelving. The second room is aimed at small dining room with table and 4 chairs, TV. It also features an easily convertible bed (pull down bed) as forth bed.

Notes: The apartment is equipped with natural gas boiler system fully independent for heating and producing instant hot water. The boiler is new. In the main room, the heating is distributed with a fan which allows fast starting. In summer, the same functions as the air conditioner unit for cooling. The air conditioner is new. A television and a DVD set are available. There are ample shelving for books and other accessories in the apartment and in the closet, where an accessory bed is available, so that 5 persons can also be accommodated in case of opportunity. A large sliding drawer allows the collection of blankets and pillows of the beds. Included is a wardrobe for clothes, towels etc The apartment has a large independent garage for the car, immediately adjacent and easily accessible. You can go back from the garage to the floor of the apartment by an elevator.

Our stay at Luigi's apartment was wonderful. Close to a little coffee bar and markets. The neighbors we met were very welcoming and happy to see us. Bus just out the back exit of property. Train station close by. So easy to get to Florence, and from there to Rome and Venice. The apartment had everything we needed. So happy to have a washing machine and ironing board as we stayed two weeks. We made friends everywhere in town. We were close to old Prato and walked and shopped there in the evenings as the weather was perfect. Great flea market on Sunday. Slept well. Quiet area. Luigi went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable and answer our travel questions about the area. Thanks also to his friend Maurizio who waited for us to arrive and helped us and answered our many questions about the area. We have bragged about the apartment to our friends and would definitely stay there again.

Prato is a beautiful city where you can experience the genuine Italian culture. I highly recommend this specific apartment: it was very clean, the owner is really friendly, the neighbourhood was quiet, there is a large supermarket around the corner, and you easily can visit other cities by train (only about 20 minutes to Florence and trains are not expensive in Italy). This apartment has just everything you need if you seek for a place to stay which is affortable and of high quality. I would definitely book this apartment again.
