Cozy cottage located in Wildwood, a private community in the Bershires of Massachusetts. Relax in the open and airy great room with cathedral ceilings and wood beams. Enjoy the free standing wood burning fireplace, comfortable seating for 6, direct TV and VCR, Take in the beautiful view of the wooded surroundings through double sliding glass doors. Experience a romantic candlelit meal for two or feed a crew at the pine dining table. Open kitchen includes gas stove, refrigerator/freezer. microwave oven, ample space for preparing food and plenty of small appliances, dishes and utensils - everything you need for cooking. One bedroom has a new queen sized mattress. The other bedroom has bunkbeds and a daybed with a trundle (new mattresses). The deck offers a gas grill, patio furniture and 3 seater swing. NO PETS AND NO SMOKING PLEASE.

Less than 30 minutes from apple orchards, Granville, MA home of the famous Granville cheddar cheese, antique shops and the Granville gorge. About an hour from Lenox (home of Tanglewood), Norman Rockwell's Museum in Stockbridge, factory outlet shopping in Lee and many art galleries. Wildwood is located about 2 hours from Boston and 3 hours from New York City. An enjoyable drive during any season.

Great Cottage, Great Owners, Great Fishing!

This cottage is located in a lovely private community called Wildwood that's in the woods surrounding a beautiful lake. There are 3 beaches around the lake, one of them is ~2 minutes walking from the cottage. No motor boat are allowed on Cranberry Pond which, in combination with the area being part of a private community, makes this place very quite and wonderful for relaxing. In fact, the scenery is pretty much unbeatable. The cottage itself is very well maintained and cute, and the owners are very helpful and welcoming. A special note to fishermen: the lake is particularly good for fishing, I caught myself a 20 inches rainbow trout and several 1 pound bass (we even see them jumping everywhere in the lake)! This is a great place, and we'll probably be back.

We found this cottage to be a wonderful, comfortable, and peaceful place. There was plenty of room for our family of four. The cottage was well stocked and very clean. Wildwood is a beautiful community. The owners were a pleasure to work with. We look forward to coming back in the future!
