This is one of the finest homes found in the tranquil Sanders Beach community of Coeur d' Alene. The house is located on East Ash Avenue, along a quiet tree lined street just one block from Lake Coeur d' Alene. Here you are conveniently located to Tubbs Hill and the pleasant nature walks along the lake.
This home is perfect for family vacations, reunions, anniversaries, and good get together with friends. Our three level spacious home provides ample room for even the largest groups.
For the executive and his family, this home is an excellent choice for enjoying the tranquility of Sanders Beach, while having immediate access to the activities of downtown Coeur d’ Alene. You are only a few minutes drive to the fine shops and restaurants in town. The famous Coeur d’ Alene golf course with its island green is nearby.
Ironman participants take special note that this home is adjacent to the running course and is an excellent location for viewing this portion of the race. We are only a half block from Lake Shore Drive. There is a large secured storage room for bikes that is accessed from the outside of the home.
If you have a boat, reservations are easily made at the Coeur d’ Alene Resort Marina for a slip. Your trailer can kept in the extra parking area behind the house.
For Thanksgiving thru New Years, we provide lights, ornaments, and a Christmas tree, if you so desire, in order to enrich your holiday season.
This air conditioned 3500 square foot home has 5 bedrooms, 2.5 baths on three levels. There is a large screened-in patio just off the kitchen.
From the street, you raise a few steps to an elevated yard that is wonderfully manicured. Wall-to-wall carpet is found throughout the main level. A beautiful arched window in the library provides a wonderful view of the lake and surrounding mountains. The lake side of the home has southern exposure, which provides an abundance of light and warmth during the winter.
The interior has recently undergone a complete renovation along the 'French Country' design. New furniture, luxury bedding, HD plasma are just part of the remodel.
The kitchen is located on the lake side of the home. Here you will find spacious countertops and an island for preparing meals. A seating area is located near the kitchen window where you have a beautiful view of the lake.
From the kitchen door, you will step outside into a spacious screened-in porch. You can plan on spending many hours out here lounging or entertaining guests. The formal dining room is also located off the kitchen.
Upstairs are 3 bedrooms and a large bath all in lush wall-to-wall carpet. The master bedroom has a walk-in closet. Conveniently located in the closet at the top of the stairs are the washer and dryer.
The lower level has a den, storage room, 2 bedrooms and a full bath. The den has a fireplace and convenient access to ground level at the rear of the house. Your children will spend hours in the den playing XBox and going thru the toybox. Step out the back into the 2 car carport. There is extra parking for guests or your recreational vehicle and boat.

If ever the saying 'location, location, location' ever applied to a home this would be that situation. With close proximity to the beach, Tubbs Hill, and downtown this wonderful home is perfectly located. The Sanders Beach area is one of the finest neighborhoods in Coeur d’ Alene. This is a beautiful neighborhood with tall old trees lining the streets and families of quail running through the yard. Keep an eye out for our neighbors cat 'Darth Vader.' He likes to visit and get some lovin.
This is a “roomy” home on 3 levels so even with large groups one can find a place to relax. There is a great den with toys, video games, and flat panel on the lower level. The kids can do their thing while the adults can relax upstairs on the large patio outside the kitchen. Speaking of the kitchen – every detail has been considered. Wow! BDT (Boys on Tour) could not have found a better location and home to visit for five days. The Ash home is the perfect location for everything – lake, hikes, golf, shopping, etc. Our favorite place is on the screened-in porch. We began each day and ended each day there. This home was so comfortable and roomy! Lots of places to gather for large discussions and private chats. We celebrated our 50th Wedding Anniversary for a week here - lots of good family time - everyone took turns fixing a dinner in the extremely well equipped kitchen, several walks to the wonderful bakery downtown, many hikes around Tubbs Hill, lots of fun beach time with all of the floats and chairs provided. Easy to get to Sandpoint, Schweitzer Mountain, our 40 acres near Plummer, the Silver Mining town of Wallace, tubing on the river, fishing on the lake, and more. We loved the screened porch - our preferred place for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. Thank you Phil for making your lovely home available and thank you Barbara for the excellent introductory tour and responding quickly when we needed an occasional bit of advice or additional baby item. There was something for everyone - from the plush carpeting where our newest grandson learned to crawl to the puzzles, games, DVDs for everyone.
We highly recommend this home and the North Idaho/Coeur d' Alene area!
What an awesome and beautiful home! It was perfect for our family Thanksgiving. Even though we live here in town, our place would not have accommodated everyone in such lovely spaciousness. Your home provided a wonderful place for all of us to stay together for the entire holiday. Every one of us felt the same way! Thank you for sharing this magical place with us.
Our extended family (6 adults and 5 kids) had a wonderful and relaxing time at this Charming House. The location is great, being a quick 3 minute walk to Sanders Beach and Tubbs Hill and a leisurely 15 minute stroll to downtown CDA. The owner goes out of his way to make your vacation easier and has all the basics covered from paper goods, to toiletries, to cleaning supplies, spices and even coffee in abundant supply (gotta love Costco). Where this house truly differentiates itself is the other amenities including tons of beach towels, beach chairs, floats, coolers, and life vests. Also the Kitchen is very well equipped. Like others, our favorite spot was the outside porch and we seemed to congregate there whenever we were in the house. Overall, we'd highly recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Ash home. It served us well providing a home base for our family reunion of sorts. We were able to engage the beautiful community and utilize this well appointed home to have some quality time with those we don't see very often. Kudos to the owners for prepping it so well. I highly recommend it.
Our family spent five days in Coeur d'Alene celebrating the wedding of our youngest son.
The Ash House was absolutely perfect for our extended family. The property was close to the CDA Resort where the Rehearsal Dinner was held and the Event Center, the site of our beautiful outdoor wedding. The home was beautifully maintained and accommodated our families very well. Each family had its own space, but we loved getting together in the kitchen where we shared laughter and conversation. The owner and property manager were very helpful. We loved the Ash House and would like to return next year to celebrate our son's first wedding anniversary!
This was a very unique Christmas for us. The family was fragmented, going in all kinds of differing directions. So, my wife and I realized it was a chance to simply vanish. We stayed at this charming home, for an entire week... and it was delightful. Very peaceful, clean, and relaxing. The properety manager Barbara, set up a time that was convenient to us and met us at the door to show us around. She was very nice and even called once afterwards to make sure everything was ok. A couple of delightful touches: There were fresh flowers in the kitchen and they even put out holiday decorations, including a decorated tree! Wow, who does that? I had lots of presents under the tree and my wife didn't have to share them, lol. The owner, Phil, was a delight to deal with over the phone. He made the booking process flow seamless and put us at ease. We thoroughly enjoyed or stay. There is a feeling of warmth in the house. Sort of like it is putting it's arms around you? A very peaceful feeling. Anyways, everyone should escape for Christmas at least once and try this. It was quite memorable!~ Thanks a million Phil & Barbara!!

The charming downtown area is less than a 5 minute drive from the house. Here you will find great shopping, cafes and restaurants.
The Ash home is next to Lake Coeur d'Alene. Public access is a 3 block walk out the back door. Pack along our beach supplies and enjoy the sun and watch all the water activities.
