Welcome to our beautiful beachfront Aliomanu Beach home! The setting for this Hawaiian-style beachfront property is a gorgeous piece of Kauai right on Aliomanu Beach (there is no direct public access). It lies well north of the local community of Anahola. Private and magical, This stunning home right on the beach is perfect for a romantic, quiet Hawaiian getaway. It features unique privileges that are hard to find on Kauai's north shore. Settled just thirty feet from the ocean, it has direct access to a beautiful, pristine, sandy beach. The water is also protected by a reef further out, so the beach is calm, safe, and warm, with the clear blue Pacific Ocean lapping at your feet.

There are only about a dozen very well-kept exotic homes on this quiet lane (including one recently owned by Carlos Santana) with absolutely no through traffic. Its privacy is maintained due to the lack of public access.
Depending on weather and tidal changes, the beach may be partially covered, and waves will lap against the edge of the rock wall fronting the home. (NOTE: *although this is an incredibly safe beach, there are no lifeguards on duty, so please be mindful of the ocean conditions.)

The interior offers (2) bedrooms, a second full bathroom on the first floor, a separate kitchenette, and comfortably sleeps four on the 1st floor and an additional 2-4 on the 2nd floor. Every room in this house offers stunning ocean views, a cool and fragrant sea breeze, and the privacy of your own slice of beach. The home is a fully fenced property with gated access. Children can putter around without worries, safe inside our fully fenced front yard. If you suffer from allergies of any kind (mold, chemicals, etc.) the air in this home is the cleanest you will ever breathe, as it has been washed by three thousand miles of ocean air!

If you are interested in staying at our home, please make a preliminary reservation request through VRBO's website. Occasionally, we also book directly from requests we receive outside of VRBO, which is why they do not show up on the VRBO calendar, or on VRBO reviews. We require a five-night minimum, subject to specific dates and holiday seasons; other minimum stay requirements may apply seasonally; we also offer discounts for extended stays. NOTE: For weeks during Christmas and Easter Week has a MINIMUM of 7 DAYS.

Kela's Glass Gallery and Kamokila Hawaiian Village are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Holoholoku Heiau and Hikinaakala Heiau. Fun and funky
This is a fun house in a secluded neighborhood. The beach is your backyard but you do have to get in a car to go anywhere. The beds are comfortable and the cable tv and internet worked great, but there’s some room for improvement with the kitchen equipment. We bought new glasses and a non-stick frying pan, but made do with the dull kitchen knives and half-working toaster. The breeze and ceiling fans kept us cool on all but the hottest days, but the open-air nature of the place means that you might end up chasing a few bugs.

Truly a Piece of paradiae
This home is - right on the beach - amazing views. We saw turtles, Monk seals, and manta rays! Amazing sunrises - Snorkeled right our front! Back garden area shelters from wind and is beautiful! Everything we needed was at the house and made it hard to leave to go site seeing ! Cannot wait to plan our trip back !

spectacular private getaway
The property was delightful. Location very private and quiet. Easy travel to local towns. Beautiful yard for lounging and yoga and several areas to sit alone or in small groups. Nice to have a kitchenette besides kitchen since two folks slept in living area. Kitchen was adequate..... best for one person at a time. Would definitely go again. Well suited for two couples or a small family. Nice surprise that everything was as advertised. Only awkward part was not knowing how to check in and out.... having no guest instructions (they were to be emailed to me - I did not receive them)

By a series of unbelievable events, our lifelong dream to buy a beachfront home on Kauai's north shore came true just three years ago. We were not after a mansion, a palace, or a showcase, just a home right on a quiet, private beach. It turns out that homes like these are VERY hard to find, at any price. So we made the plunge, and have been repairing and furnishing ever since!

Why they chose this property

Why did we choose this property? Because it had everything that REALLY mattered to us! It was right on a private beach of golden sand. It was on a private, dead end street (we love peace and quiet). The beach was protected by a reef far out to sea, so it would always be safe for swimming and... Especially, it had an unrestricted, 180 degree white water ocean view AND caught both the sunrise and moonrise! These you never see on the North Shore of Kauai!

What makes this property unique

Privacy! Peace and Quiet! Beach right outside your door! Warm, safe, clear, clean Pacific Ocean (unlike Hanalei Bay, which, for all its fame, has dirty, muddy water). Fishing, snorkeling, canoeing, swimming, jogging, beach fires, no thru traffic, 3 minutes to a store and post office, 10 or 12 minutes to restaurants and stores in world famous Kilauea and Kapaa.
