Nearest Airport: Jacksonville(JAX) at 20 Miles
Something for everyone here. Play golf at one of several lovely courses nearby. Sun and swim at the beach or even surf. Eat at the unique seafood restaurants where they have fresh seafood from the shrimp boats at the harbor. Stroll through the historic town of Fernandina where the pirates used to come ashore (Blackbeard's statue is there) It is also rumored that there is still unfound treasure on the island where the pirates hid it and marked by a unique hanging vine from a tree. There is also a fishing pier nearby or you can cast from the beach into the ocean. The Fernandina Beach is still not very crowded and where this condo is, there are lots of private beach areas to walk. Finding sharks teeth is always fun and there are ample to find. This condo has two balconies, one off the master bedroom faces the sand dunes of Fort Clinch State Park, the other is very large and on the front where you can get a peep at the ocean. Disney World and Sea World are less than 3 hours away.

location,location, location. walking distance to beach and if you are a 10k step person..walking distance to everything you need....library, historical sites, shopping.

We had a great time staying at this condo for a long weekend! It was perfect for us at the more secluded north end of the island and close enough to the beach that we could walk with our kids ages 2 & 5. The pool was also nice and we even managed to find a few chunks of time when we were the only ones there. It was a nice option to have bikes in the closets, although we didn't get to use them.

Great location and accommodations!!! Just a short walk to the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed the private balcony from the master bedroom, which overlooks the Ft. Clinch State Park. We observed deer feeding a couple of times, along with birds and other wildlife. Also, very convenient to the State Park and the "greenway" trail for hiking and photography. It was so nice to be able to bring our dog, who enjoyed the beach and hiking as well. I highly recommend this condo and will definitely try to stay there again on my next trip to Amelia Island. Thanks!!!

My family spent Easter 2008 vacation at this property and enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was as represented on the website and provided us comfortable accommadations with easy access to the beach. The condo complex backs up to State Park lands, making for a quiet setting. The rental fee was very reasonable for a three bedroom condo. I would highly recommend this property to a family looking for a nice, reasonably priced rental on Amelia Island.
