Very cozy apartment with view of the Eiffel tower. Centrally located, extremely quiet in a secured building with guardians. Sixth floor with elevator. Newly decorated with antiques, bamboo floor, brand new kitchen with lava rock enameled, and bathroom with a bath tub and shower.
Very bright, sunny, modern and comfortable. This apartment has all the needed amenities at a 100 yards from the Metro Station Charles Michels and Buses to Opera, Champs Elysees, Notre Dame, etc... Great neighborhood for shopping, restaurants and cinemas.
I am back in Malaysia after my splendid holidays in Paris. I would like to than you for your nice place and suggestions that made our Paris stay a memorable one. We like the area a lot and found it very convenient.
This apartment was ideal for our family visit to Paris!!
It was a home away from home - clean, comfortable, secure and in a great location. As promised the Metro, the Monoprix supermarket and the bakery (with fantastic pastries!!) were all very convenient.
It was great to shop and cook for ourselves - it really helped to keep our costs down. We also appreciated the mod cons like the washing machine and particularly the laptop computer. Being able to check email, keep in contact with family and research the sights we visited each day was especially useful. Free phone calls back to Australia were also a great bonus!!
Of course, the view of the iconic Eiffel Tower from the kitchen window was spectacular, particularly the night display when it lit up and "sparkled". The kids were captivated by the tower and could often be found just taking in and enjoying the view!!
All contact with Jean Claude to arrange our stay was prompt and friendly and he ensured that everything was as we expected. The information pack he sent prior to our visit meant that our arrival was straight forward and set the scene for a most enjoyable stay.
Based on our experience we would recommend this apartment to others and would definitely stay again when we next visit Paris. Merci Beaucoup!!
This is a great location; steps from a really good Metro stop, Carrefour (like 7 Eleven) next door, 2 blocks from Monoprix (like super Target) and from probably the best new mall in Paris that has the best new movie theatre and a great food court including a Marks & Spencer with tons of great food options to take home.
It was perfect for the 2 of us: safe, clean and quite. The owner arranged a DVD player for us and we bought some movies while we were there (US DVDs won't work there) and enjoyed that.
The owner was very responsive to a few questions we had after arrival and, in general, always helpful. We stayed for a month and would definitely stay there again.
We brought our young kids to Paris for their first time, and this was a perfect home away from home, pity we only had a short time. Jean Claude was wonderful to work with, and so was the guardian of the property, abeit some language barrier. The apartment itself is a quiet residential building with secured entry, the little courtyard ushers you into a quiet world from the city hustles. The Eiffel Tower is a 10-15 min walk away, with full view of the tower the minute you exit the building and walking along rue st. Charles. Priceless.
Inside the apartment, it is cosy and comfortable with ample room for 4-5. The kitchen is small but equipped. Amenities otherwise unavailable in a hotel like stove, fridge, microwave allowed for slow and relaxed breakfasts and evening dinners at the end of long walking day. The boulangerie and grocery store within walking steps were super convenient. We also dined at nearby restaurants on various occasions. Gave us a little sense of suburban living in the outskirts of Paris proper.
The apartment is well kept and clean, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, looking forward to returning again some day. Merci, J-C!
This apartment was an absolute delight. First off the Owner Jean C. was so very easy to communicate with and was very helpful. He sent us an entire booklet of everything we need to know about the apartment and the area as well as main Paris information. upon arriving to the apartment the location was great(literally 100 from a Metro Station) and it was near many little shops, markets, restaurants and ATM's. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and had all of the things you would have at home(iron, dishes, pots/pans, extra pillows, blankets, sheets, books, vacuum etc etc). It was only a 10 min walk to the Eiffel Tower and many of attractions. There is also a bicycle rental place on the next block over that is great. You get a 24 hour card and you can use a bike as much as you want for 30 minutes at a time. There are drop off points all over the city. Great way to get around and much cheaper than a cab(24 card was 1.70 euros). Just make sure to return before 30 minutes to avoid 1 euro per 30min charge after the first 30 min. I just couldnt ask for more of this owner and apartment and would recommend this place to anyone.
This lovely well equipped apartment was our home away from home for one week in March. Jean Claude was very accommodating and answered all of our questions. The brochure he send was very helpful. His apartment is situation is a lovely and safe part of Paris within a two minute walk to the Metro. Bakeries, supermarkets and even a shopping mall could be easily walked to. We loved the view of the Eiffel Tower from our kitchen. Both the sofa couch and main bed were very comfortable. The Eiffel Tower was an easy 15 minute stroll away. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Make sure to check out the fruit and vegetable markets just down the street that occur twice a week. We have recommended this apartment to several of our friends and we hope to return to Paris later in the spring and will stay here again if it is available! This apartment was one of the highlights of our trip to Paris. Having never rented an apartment before, we were not sure what to expect, but it was an amazing experience. Thank-you so much.

Although I consider myself a well traveled person, this is my first experience with an apt. rental or with VRBO. I travel with my spouse and two teenage girls (12 and 15). My experience since the beginning with Mr leon was very positive. He was always in contact with me since the beginning answering all my questions in a timely manner. The welcoming package was very thorough and useful. The listing description was as described with the photos accurately showing how the apt. really is. The apt. was the perfect space even for 4. The pull out couch in the living area was comfortable and big enough for two. The bed in the one bedroom was also comfortable and the right size for European standards and US standards. The shower had plenty of pressure which is one thing I miss in Europe. The apt. is about a 15min walk to the Eiffel tower and is surrounded by all types of good restaurants. We ate at a Chinese restaurant and an Italian restaurant 5min walk towards the Eiffel Tower. Both were very good, in fact the Italian restaurant was owned by an Italian and this was reflected in the food. The bakery across the street is exactly what Paris is about. The market on the first floor was very convenient as we purchased breakfast items and fruits for the morning beginning of day. The door lock had been changed and Mr Leon attempted to mail to me the new key, but I was already in route. Instead the contact person who is the building manager was very helpful despite the language barrier. He got someone on the phone to coordinate my arrival and the key handoff. Oh, let me not forget the WIFI which kept us in contact with the web.The free calls to the US were also very welcoming as my prepaid sim card from Europe did not include calls to the US. Overall I was very pleased with the apt. and wish I had had more time to enjoy it but we only had 4 days in Paris and we spent the entire day sightseeing only going to apt. to sleep and eat breakfast.
