An architecturally significant estate, designed and built by Jim Jeffords, a Frank Lloyd Wright disciple. Located in desirable South Palm Desert neighborhood and near upscale shopping on El Paseo. The house is woven into the site with enormous copper gates for maximum privacy. The dynamic, geometric ceiling accentuates the natural light throughout the house. Sleek cabinetry and surfaces wrapped in glass and stone create a home of unique luxury. In the master bedroom the marble floors reflect lush desert landscape views. The jet black granite countertops and stainless steal appliances in the kitchen create an environment that is much more than just a kitchen. Windows rise from floor to ceiling in the living area, with pocket doors leading to an outdoor patio where you can enjoy breakfast in the fresh desert air. The sunken bar boosts a curved glass countertop, 'a great hang-out spot.' Overall, the estate is open and airy, quiet and serene.

Fabulous and stylish getaway!

We stayed at this gorgeous house over the New Year with extended family and couldn't have had a better time. The home is beautiful and decorated in a very stylish fashion with lovely artwork and furnishings. The backyard pool area was a quite oasis and we had a wonderful time enjoying the jacuzzi, although the weather was a little too cold to enjoy the pool. The kitchen was very well stocked and the master bedroom was large with a comfortable bed. The owners were very gracious and helpful and we would be thrilled to stay here again! A very affordable high-end rental!

Hidden Treasure in the Desert

We spent 2 weeks in this beautiful house with our 2 teenage daughters in April 2009. The is our Twelth time staying in the desert and this home has been the best by far. Very spacious, comfortable and quiet. The owner was there on hand to clean the pool and to help with any enquiries we had. Good location to El Paseo and The River in Rancho Mirage.

Our family of 4 just spent ten fabulous days in this beautiful home. So spacious, and cool! Surrounded by artwork and clean straight lines, magnificent lighting and the most awesome indoor/outdoor bar . . . made our stay extra nice and memorable. I asked my 2 daughters on seperate occassions what their 3 top highlights of the trip were and they BOTH said "the house" as one of their choices. I would have to say "the house" too had I been asked the same question. The home owner was wonderful to communicate with before, during and since our visit.

We would definately stay here again (if we were lucky enough that it were available!)

Style, style, style - beautiful architecture

The house is a work of art and it was very livable. The owner is caring and responsive to any needs. It's on a nice quiet street close to all the services and El Paseo. The citrus trees were great and the pool was fun along with the jacuzzi. The walled in estate feeling felt very private and secure.
