This lodge is a very large interesting old barn (about 5,700 square feet), located on 2.5 acres that has been remodeled into a beautiful lodge. It is an amazing structure and brand new inside and out. This is a great location for a FAMILY REUNION!.
The lodge is located just off the Fall River which is about 500-1000 feet away, and which you can see from the multiple decks on the lodge and has a large common area with big windows where you can see the Teton Mountains.
It has a great room with cathedral ceilings and a large loft and theatre room. The master suite has it's own private second story deck and a private bath with jetted tub. The Lodge has 7 bedrooms plus a loft with 16 bunk beds and theater room for additional sleeping areas. Will sleep up to 30.
This lodge is close to Ashton, Idaho, Island Park, Targhee National Forest, Fall River and 10 minutes from Henry's Fork of the Snake River, Yellowstone NP, Mesa Falls, Jackson Hole, Grand Teton NP.
Things to Do in the Area: Yellowstone Park, Mesa Falls, Grand Teton National Park, Island Park, Henry's Fork of the Snake River, Fall River, Jackson Hole, St. Anthony Sand Dunes, Ashton City Pool.
We love the mountains and rivers in our area.
Kathy purchased this lodge in 2007
This lodge is a newly remodeled, very large and interesting old barn (about 5,700 square feet), and will sleep up to 30 in beds. It is located on 2.5 acres. It is an amazing, unique structure of wood and stone, and brand new inside and out, except for the original barn beams. You will love it! This is a great location for a FAMILY REUNION or VACATION!
Thanks for having accommodations big enough for the whole family. It is hard to find something this big at a reasonable price. Everyone had a good time. The ping pong table, pool table and media room were a big help. Thanks.
We stayed in the middle of July 2008. We had 35 people, and it was great. Loved the tables & chairs set-up, was easy to get food going for so many! Loved that there were 2 fridges, and the shelves in pantry. The playplace for the kids was great, and many happy hours were spent outside. There was problem with water heater/pressure in master bathroom only. One day no hot water at all, and next day water shut off in the middle of the shower. Wasn't a major problem because of other bathrooms in cabin, just inconvienent. The game room/TV room didn't have air conditioning which made it difficult to spend time in there during day, but at night with door open, was ok. Overall, Top notch! Would stay there again!
I loved the woodwork and the spiral staircase that is in this place. There is so much space and it has a wonderful game/TV room to relax in. I love the large kitchen, I was able to do all of my cooking and baking. There were plenty of beds and couches for people to sleep on and had a great backyard with a play set for the kids. Loved it.
We loved the lodge. We had no complaints while we were there. The sky is fantastic at night, so many stars. We had over 15 young people, including some teenagers and they had a great time with the movie room, the pool table, the ping pong table, the hot tub. What more could you ask? I loved the fact that we always had hot water, even though many were taking showers and baths one after the other. The kitchen was so easy to move around in and many cooks were on board at the same time. Excellent place. I will reccommend it to all my friends! You forgot to mention it's only an hour from Jackson Hole!
The lodge was clean and well kept. There was room to eat and sit and visit. The bunk room was awesome and perfect for kids. It is also just a beautiful building. We loved our stay there and have already recommended it to our friends and families.
The cabin was lovely and clean, accommodating our 30-person party with complete comfort. We really enjoyed our stay, and would be happy to stay here again.
We stayed July 11-14 2013,
Upon our arrival the "lodge" was not clean, hair in the bathrooms, food on the counter, dirt all over the floor, oven and stove top left messy.
We rented this "lodge" for the large theatre room, the projector did not work for us, maintenance said the "owners were not taking care of the equipment."
The water pressure is still an issue, you may have read about in other posts. The top floor bathroom is essentially unusable, the showers water pressure isn't enough to rinse your hair out.
Kitchen is poorly supplied with cooking pots and pans/bowls to prepare a meal for 30+ people.
FYI, the contact person is not the Owner. It's a private party who does the scheduling and maintenance
Neighbor is rude and offensive to vistiors.
We would not recommend this property
The real owners were not available to discuss any issues with, the hired contact name was very slow in responding to phone calls and concerns.
Forests with trails for hiking, snowmobiling and 4-wheeling. River floating with tubes or rafts. Swimming in Ashton City public pool or Rexburg Rapids Aquatic Park in Rexburg.
