A huge and well appointed 2 Bedroom /2 bath, (non smoking only please) completely furnished/equipped loft apt. lower Manhattan/Tribeca, next to Soho. Sleeps up to 6-7 Apt is only a first floor landing(no elevator). it is about 2000 sq. ft. with very high ceilings. Walking distance to Greenwich Village, Soho, Tribeca, Chinatown. Historic landmark district in NY with wide cobblestone streets for easy walking and express subway on next block,10 min. to midtown and easy access to museums. theater, shopping, New York's trendiest area, hottest bars and upscale boutiques/shopping. Family friendly, active night life with much celeb spotting in New York film making center, near Tribeca Film Festival locations.Foodies will have much to celebrate in here, as we are surrounded by the latest 4 star award winning restaurants. Several lovely waterfront parks. A delightful trapeze school nearby nearby children's only playground/splash pools. Old cobblestone streets with historic architecture and facades restored to 19th century elegance. Dozens of museums within minutes/art galleries, as well as fabulous Broadway shows, great boutique shopping nearby. 4* restaurants all around us.

Greenwich Village and lower East Side for hip trendy culture. This apartment was clean, well-organized and in a great location. Franklin is a relatively quiet street, so noise was minimal. Also, the way it was laid out, with one living area/bathroom/bedroom separated from the other by a hallway, made it like two apartments in one - ideal for friends travelling together but who want privacy.

The apartment was spotless - only one tiny complaint, and that was the wifi didn't work in the front room. But really, hardly a big deal!
Owner's Response: Yes, this apartment is an enormous 2000 sq. ft. loft space and a real asset for friends/families traveling together, as they can have their own space. We focus closely on maintaining an environment that is particularly attractive and relaxing to return to after a busy day in NY. We provide a wired internet connection at our computer desk as well as wireless in the rear living room and there are two of those. This apartment is so large that the wireless signal must go through several walls to reach the front space, however there is wired and wireless in the apartment.

this loft apartment is better than advertised. the owners also went out of their way to assist us luggage storage before/after check out time. subway and taxi access was a cinch, and many places were an easy walk. richard, from bakersfield.
