Kokua house is located in private luxury Kona Bay Estates with 24 hr security. Ocean front community with beach access, pool, and in gated community within walking distance of Kailua-Kona village where all the activities are, and dinning. The house is approximately 3,000 square feet, very light with lots of sliding windows, gourmet kitchen, tropical furnishings,central music system for the whole house and lanai. There are numerous lanais, and located in a tropical setting. Master suite has a jetted tub, and a double walk in shower. Den has a queen sofa with full bath and lanai. Private pool, with bbq, and chaise lounges. There is no where else on the island you can walk to either the beach or town and never have to drive. The white sandy beach known as Keiki is quiet lagoon are perfect for kids. The house has everything for a perfect retreat.Tennis courts, soccer, and horseshoes are next store. Wonderful home for the whole family to make memories.

Wonderful experience - wonderful home!

We stayed in this home for over a week April 2008. We had a wonderful time. The home suited our family well and the location was amazing. It has a perfect Keiki beach for kids to play at and they were thrilled that we saw turtles everyday. The home has a pool which is nice to relax in at the end of the day and it's within walking distance to downtown Kailua Kona.

It's near a sports complex and there were children playing soccer and football in the evenings but it was only for an hour or two and it didn't bother us in the least.

Tennis courts located in the sports complex are free and they are a very short walk from the home.

The house was in excellent shape and the yard and facilities were well maintained. The owner/property manager provided us with excellent customer service before and during our stay and were very easy to work with.

All in all our entire party thoroughly enjoyed the Kokua house, have already recommended it to friends and plan to stay there again next year.

Kokua House - a magical week on the Big Island

Kokua House was even better than described with one small exception. It sits adjacent to a very active sports field. But even that did little to disturb the tranquility and amenities of the house. We were three women away on a much needed golf vacation. We needed privacy for ouselves from each other as well as from the world. Everything we needed and sought came with this beautifully appointed home. The location was perfect - we could get to Costco or Safeway easily for supplies. The house was no more than 30 minutes from a dozen spectacular golf courses and next door to Kihula-Kona for quick shopping. The convenience, ambience, location and appointments were superb.
