BEACHFRONT - Hawaiian Princess - honestly ON the ocean - 1 bd condo tucked away on the most spectacular white fine sand beach - surrounded by mountains. It's called the 'Hawaiian Princess', but really is the 'Queen' of the area's resorts. Makaha is Quiet country on the leeward (dry) side of Oahu, where sunshine is the hallmark year round. It's only a 40 min driive from the airport, but ' A WORLD AWAY FROM WAIKIKI' - or - just a 50 min drive to all it's touristy activities. Watch the sunsets from your 180 degree ocean living room. Have mai tais on your large lanai and watch the whales go by. Swim with the native green turtles and snorkel off the beach right in front of you. This 'Fully Upgraded Equipped' condo has it all - ocean side salt water pool - jacuzzi - tennis ct - gas bbq's - etc etc BUT the most important feature is the OCEAN RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The view was excellent and we could see turtles swimming along the shore through out our visit. The beach was great and we had lovely swims. The condo was clean. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away from the crowds to the non touristy areas. We were here in the summer so beach was great for swimming. We spent time 1/2 mile up the road at Makaha Beach where my husband could boogie board. We toured around the island several times.

I spent five days in paradise! The condo was exactly as described and everything I wanted in a holiday. The property was clean, well-maintained, and had the most comfortable bed I've slept on in a long time. The views from the lanai were amazing! We watched humpback whales breaching and sea turtles swimming. The beach in front of the condos was absolutely gorgeous - soft, white sand against the brilliant blue of the water. On the busiest day, there were only thirty people on the beach. Truly, we had found a small piece of paradise at the Hawaiian Princess.

The owner of the unit was most friendly and sent a package of "places to see" to use before we left. We explored the island, but only after a very leisurely start to the day - coffee on the lanai to watch for whales and turtles. We always made sure to be back at the condo by 6:00 p.m. so we could watch the amazing sunsets.

I have already recommended the Hawaiian Princess, and our unit in particular, to a number of friends. I am planning a return trip later this year and would love to stay in the same unit, but it is already booked for the dates I plan to be there.

For anyone looking for a quiet, out of the way, piece of heaven - this unit in Makaha is definitely the place.
