Casa Caterina is 50m from the Dome square, in the heart of the old center of Florence, near all the most important monuments, museums, galleries and biblioteques. You can get to the main railway station S.M. Novella on foot in a few minutes. This area is accessible by car only by its inhabitants. There are 50m cash-garages for car-parking; Possibility to rent a bike or an electric car around the station. All the main shops are close in the neighborhood (internet-point, grocery, restaurants, clothing etc). The building was built in the 15th Century, and in the 19th Century were made big raising works, and recently the whole building was restored; particularly this apartment.

Calm, Charming City Oasis

My family loved this space, an oasis in the midst of the busy city. It sparkled, it's artistic, it's comfortable, and the location is absolutely central. The kitchen was equipped just enough, including sharp knife, good pots, tea kettle, and colander. There's also a big tub in the spacious main bathroom. We felt like this apartment was a real find!

Fantastic!

Our stay in Florence was great and Casa Caterina made it even better! The apartment was SPOTLESS and had all the comforts of home – we wanted for nothing. We were so impressed when we walked in the door it looked exactly like the pictures (even better).

There were 4 adults in our party and we stayed at Casa Caterina for 11 days. The apartment was so spacious we never got in each other’s way – there is 1-1/2 baths (large main bathroom with shower and tub), microwave, washer/dryer, hair dryer, linens/towels, computer and a full kitchen with dishes and pots/pans.

It is in a great location and within walking distance of all the places we wanted to see. The Duomo of Florence is a block away and David a few blocks away.

We were sad to leave Florence and Casa Caterina – we all enjoyed our stay very much and loved the apartment. When we return to Florence Casa Caterina will be our first choice to stay and hopefully it will be available.

Filippo and Caterina are very friendly and helpful. They maintain the apartment to perfection! It is truly a “Home Away From Home!” We give it a 10+!

the nicest most practical cleanest most centraly located overall best you can get in florence. I would live there .its lovely and new . on third floor walk up large stone stairs.
