This property affords views from the front and back of the house as the lake is kidney shaped and we are on a point. The beach has 100' of frontage and a large yard. It is an all-sports lake, with great fishing and water sports. The property is beautifully landscaped with terraced gardens from the house to the beach, including many flowers and hostas and large shade trees on the upper level. There are two levels of patio seating, one at the top of the hill and one at the beach level. Outside amenities include gas grilles, comfortable padded patio furniture (chairs and chaise lounges), two tables and umbrellas on upper level and one on lower level. The home is very cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities. There is a full-service kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, electric stove, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, coffee-maker, etc. The dining area is large - with family room qualities, including a bar, gas fireplace, couch and loveseat. It is a great place to sit and chat after a meal. The living room has another gas fireplace and an entertainment center with TV, DVD, VHS and Stereo. There is a large L-shaped couch with recliners on each end, plus additional seating. The living room opens to the sun porch which has additional seating areas and 3 sliding doors for viewing of the lake. The master bedroom suite is exceptional with Thomasville furniture, an entertainment center, a dressing area with double vanities, a walk-in closet, a very large bath with ceramic tub/shower, a laundry area, and corner vanity and toilet. The second bedroom has a full size sleeper sofa and computer equipment with AOL internet service.
If you like to walk, there are great areas to walk or bicycle around all four lakes. The area has a rustic resort area type atmosphere with small stores in Twin Lake and other larger stores, theaters, entertainment activities close by. The Rothbury festival is just a few miles away.
