Welcome to Bend’s fabulous west side! Cumberland House is perfectly located - two blocks to Galveston Street's shops & restaurants. Walk through beautiful Drake Park and along the Deschutes River to downtown. The house has a private back deck, where guests stargaze from the hot tub. The front deck is a delightful spot to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. Enjoy unique furnishings and a comfortable, luxurious feel. The dining room, living room and kitchen are open - great for relaxing together. The family room has two couches, a flat-screen TV w/Xbox, and a charming gas stove. Cozy up with the bird book – the feeders are full! The 3/bedroom, 1/bath Cumberland House sleeps 2-6, or a cozy 8. The master bedroom has a wrought iron, queen bed. The second bedroom also has a queen bed, with an antique Indian sari overhead. The third bedroom has a twin bed and twin sofa-bed. There is also a queen hide-a-bed in the family room. Cumberland House is close to local bakery and restaurants. Walk to the Park-and-Ride to catch a shuttle bus for skiing on Mt. Bachelor, or meet your tour bus for rafting trips. Down the hill, you will find McKay Park, a great spot to put in inner tubes and float down the river, or catch an outdoor movie. The Les Schwab Amphitheater is within walking distance for summer concerts. Three blocks away is Century Drive, leading to the stunning Cascade Lakes Scenic Highway and Mt. Bachelor. Within a short driving distance you have access to many outdoor activities, including: boating, rafting, skiing, swimming, fishing, hiking, biking, golfing, horseback riding, rock climbing, lava cave tours, and so much more!

What a great stay

Our first Home Away rental and what a great experience. The house was cleaner than any hotel room, conveniently located and the amenities were great. Xbox for kids, a hottub and wifi throughout the house. We will stay again for sure.
