Both Summer and Winter activities provide year round use. Enjoy the worlds best skiing, fishing, hiking, golfing, road biking, mountain biking etc. Condo pool and hot tub are within a 1 minute walk as well as the Elkhorn amenities that are included with this unit. Elkhorn amenities include discount golfing priviledges at the famous Trent Jones designed Elkhorn golf course, free tennis, free use of the Olympic size pools and hot tubs at both the Harker Center and Elkhorn Community Center, as well as the other amenities provided.

About The Owner

My wife and I grew up in Oregon and Alaska, but we have been vacationing in Sun Valley since the 1960's. We have 4 children and are avid outdoor enthusiasts. Although there is great skiing and other outdoor activities in Oregon and Alaska, nothing can compare to the experiences that we enjoy in the magical Place called Sun Valley. Why The Owner chose Sun Valley

We chose to buy a condo in the Sunburst complex because we were able to purchase a remodeled, rare and gorgeous, large (2100 sq. ft.) end unit that is beautifully furnished and well appointed. It is located at the base of Dollar Mountain in the family friendly Elkhorn Village of Sun valley, which offers many free amenities and services that other areas of Sun Valley do not offer. (free tennis, two large community pools and hot tubs, bike paths, discount golf, play grounds, etc.) The Sunburst complex and our unit are extremely well maintained by the association, and has its own private pool, hot tub, and sauna. It is also conveniently located to the Bald and Dollar Mountain ski areas, the Sun Valley Lodge, and the town of Ketchum.

What makes this condo unique

The large great room design and 4 sleeping areas of our condo make it an extremely functional unit that can easily accommodate large groups or families. Enjoy the spectacular views off of the two large decks while cooking on the gas BBQ. The private pool, hot tub, and sauna are just steps from the unit. Use the free high speed internet, watch your favorite TV show or movie on one of our 3 TV's, or just have fun playing one of our many board games. You can also Walk the short distance to the Village store, pool, tennis courts or golf course club house, and take the free bus into town.

Our wonderful condo is located in the heart of Sun Valley in Elkhorn Village. It is just a few minutes to the best Restaurants, skiing, snow boarding, mountain biking, fly fishing, golfing, hiking, and white water rafting in the world. Elkhorn is also the most beautiful area in Sun Valley. For a great burger and beer where all of the locals hang out, try Lefty's Bar and Grill located in downtown Ketchum. For one of the best ski and snowboard runs in the world try 'Limelight' which is on the Warm Springs side of Bald Mountain.

Great place with plenty of room for whole family.

We stayed in this home with our three children and their grandparents. It was very clean and could accommodate a large number of people at meal-time. All of the adults agreed it was the perfect layout for our family of 4 adults and 3 kids. The hot tub for après ski soaking is very close as well. Thanks, Scott & Stacey for renting such a great place. We had a fabulous vacation and hope to return.

They are very nice and roomy with towels and bedding provided.
A new addition this year was added as the amenity cards needed to be picked up at the Harker Center for each individual. The nearby swimming pool is a favorite of our family, but the large pools at Elkhorn and Harker Center are always available. The fireworks on July 4 were within walking distance to view. There is plenty of parking near the condos. Shopping is always fun at the Sun Valley Mall, nearby Ketchum and in Hailey for our family. We bike, hike, swim, shop, golf, shoot, play tennis, and relax.
