Fishing and Hunting:
Lake county has 156 lakes. and a few great rivers to trout fish from. Our lake has a large variety of fish and they taste wonderful. The lake is clean and wonderful for swimming and kids. The Pier Marquette
river is only 10 min. away and offers some of the best fishing in all of Michigan. We have catch and release areas, fly fishing areas and open areas as well on the same river. The Pine river is a favorite body of water to many trout fisherman as well.
If you like Perch, we had 2 guest this past year that caught some that were 14 inches. Now that's a perch. I'm still trying to get one and I own the place? What's up with that? I guess they know more about fishing than I do unless they used a fish finder. They did bring their own boats and they did have a fish finder. This lake is connected to 2 others known as the chain of lakes and fishing is excellent for bass, blue gill, perch, walleye, Lake trout, and Pike, sun fish, red eye and muskie and crappie. Great deer hunting 1000's
