Escape from it all to a little slice of heaven! If you are looking for a quiet or romantic getaway, this is it. You'll be swept away by the 180 degree view from your spacious, luxurious studio apartment. Soak in the peace and serenity from every window, including a bulls eye view of the famous Couer d'Alene Golf Resort 'Floating Green'. Walk out to a ground level outside private lanai to take in the sunset over beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene, as well as a separate barbeque area for outside dining off the kitchen.

This elegant apartment is located on the grounds of the Scharelant Healing Retreat Center, which offers a variety of amenities, including massage therapy. Concierge Service is available. You'll feel a million miles away, yet just ten minutes from charming downtown Coeur d'Alene which offers restaurants, art galleries, shops and seasonal events to enjoy. The Centennial Trail for biking, walking and jogging is also just ten minutes away as well as many excellent public golf course and choice selections for skiing nearby.

The accommodations are spacious, spotlessly clean and impeccably decorated. Nearly 800 square feet, there is room to spread out! Luxuriate in a California King Size bed, large bathtub and shower, huge walk in closet and bistro kitchen nook with all the appliances you'll need for the two of you. After a soak in the tub, a relaxing massage, and a simple dinner, you may find it hard to leave!

My husband and I had the most relaxing stay at the Scharelant. We expected it to be lovely but upon arrival we were blown away by the thought that went into this retreat. It was better than staying in a suite at any 5 star hotel. It was peaceful, spacious, and no detail was left out. We were ready to sell our house on the east coast and move in! The proprietor was flexible with our changing arrival time and a joy to meet. She has created such a safe space and her vision exudes through every room. We truly hope our next visit to Coeur d'Alene is a permanent one, if not, we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.

Our stay at the Scharelant was wonderful. Lois was a great host and gave us a warm welcome. The views were absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed our week long stay so much that we already reserved a week long stay for next year:)

On arrival, we passed through a family of deer along the winding lakefront drive, met Lois and walked down a storybook path to the studio.

The unit is completely tricked out. Everything you would expect from a Four Seasons or better. Rich towels and linens. Feather bed. Ersatz fireplace. Sweeping views of the lake. HUGE bathroom and twin walk-in closets.

Easy bike ride to Centennial Trail along the lake.

One HWY stop past downtown exit.

We were so impressed with this location, unit, and owner. The location was spectacular - the pictures do not do justice. The studio was beautiful and had plenty of room. Everything about it was perfect and comfortable. The owner was very responsive and we very much enjoyed getting to know her. My wife also enjoyed a wonderful massage. Thank you for the great time!

My husband and I came here to celebrate my birthday. We stayed here for five days and we still didn't want to leave!! The studio is super clean, well decorated and packed with everything you need like a bbq outside your door, a toaster oven, coffee maker, refrigerator, sunken bathtub and more. We loved the property so much that we ended up cooking in every night and just taking in the stunning lake views and sunset. Our Old English Sheepdog was even able to enjoy his stay and ran lap's around the yard with Lois's dog. Lois, the owner, is so kind and sweet, she really made us feel at home. She's also a massage therapist so be sure to get a massage too, it added to the relaxing experience. We are already thinking of a time when we can return here!
