Sapphire Village is conveniently located beside Sapphire Beach & Marina and near town (Red Hook and Charlotte Amalie), yet far enough away to give you the feel of resting in your own corner of Paradise. You'll find easy access to Sapphire Beach, windsurfing, snorkeling, sport fishing and more....with beach and pools just a few steps away from your condo. A poolside bar and restaurant, 'Sapphire Bar + Grille' is on the premises. Catch the safari taxi for all your transportation needs, or rent a car at the airport.
Our condo offers a stunning ocean view, overlooking the marina, St. John and BVI. We offer this condo for non-smoking guests and no pets (sorry, HOA no pets allowed). The condo is one half mile to the ferry to St.John...you will not find a better location than the East End near Red Hook...our lovely condo at Sapphire Village is a true bargain. Enjoy your stay at our 'slice of paradise'.
It was awesome! The condo was the best! Thank you for having it so well stocked. And the staff keeps the grounds so clean. Sapphire Beach was great-- our boys loved the snorkeling and we even rented a kayak. We were in the pool right up to 10:30 am before check-out at 11 am. We definitely want to stay again. Thanks again, Wendy
We stayed here for five nights and enjoyed every minute of it! The condo was exactly as described. It had all of the comforts of home, along with a beautiful view. The keyless entry was extremely handy. Jeff was very easy to work with and ensured that we had everything we needed. The condo is very conveniently located, just down the road from Red Hook. We had a great time hanging out there at the many restaurants and shops, however, there is also a grocery store in Red Hook so we were able to stock up. There are many great beaches close by for snorkeling. It is easy to catch the passenger ferry from Red Hook over to St. John. We took the car barge over there one day and spent the entire day snorkeling at the many beautiful beaches. We would definitely recommend staying here … our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer!
As I said in an earlier "Home Away" review (see December 23, 2011), my wife and I could not wait to return to what we described in the review as by far our "favorite vacation rental unit." A spacious one bedroom unit that offered extremely attentive owners...a quiet and secure location with a wonderful ocean view, direct access to a white sandy beach, and near to the community of Red Hook and other island amenities...trouble free keyless access to the unit...comfortable, well maintained furnishings including wifi and two flat screen TV's...an extensive supply of basic household supplies, personal items and recreational equipment...and a lot more. Despite the delay of a "hip replacement" and extended family commitments, we finally made it back to St Thomas this October for two weeks and were able to rent this Sapphire Village "gem." The unit once again met, if not exceeded, our expectations (even after a hiatus of one and a half years). After vacationing in rental units for the past eight to ten years, both my wife and I agree that it truly deserves its five star rating!
This condo completely exceeded all of my expectations! It was immaculately clean, and comfortable. Everything you could possibly need was there. It was decorated very nicely, it was cute and tropical. The view was stunning from the balcony. Jeffrey provided us with so much good information, we wasted no time in trying to figure out where to go, or how to get there etc......it was PERFECT! I am planning my next trip already!
My wife and I just returned from our first trip to St. Thomas and we are already trying to figure out how quickly we can return. We spent three nights at Jeff and Linda's condo and it exceeded our high expectations.
The unit is located in a perfect area of the island with easy beach access, a nice pool with a great bar/restaurant and easy access to Red Hook and it's dining options and ferry access. The unit had everything that we needed for our stay and the view from the balcony is amazing. I can't imagine finding a better deal anywhere on the island.
Jeff provided us with all of the information that first time visitors could hope for and we were happy that we took some of his advice. We had a wonderful dinner at the Mafolie hotel and restaurant (what a view!) and fell in love with Cinnamon Bay beach in St. John.
All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better weekend. Thank you Jeff and Linda!
I can't say enough good things about Jeff and Linda! My boyfriend and I were making our first trip to St. Thomas and the Virgin Islands & we had many questions; with the many emails I sent with all the silly questions, they didn't hesitate to answer right away. If you rent this condo, & have Jeff and Linda as your wealth of knowledge, you will not be going away hesitant.
The condo was great. Well stocked with all the essentials & more & not to mention very clean! We ended up going to Food Center our first morning (took a local Red Hook taxi and asked him to come back for us in a 1/2 hour) & got all of the breakfast essentials, snacks, a few dinners & a few lunches. They also sold liquor, so we stocked up on that too. Having the kitchen in the condo was great since we were able to cook some of our own meals & save money. The balcony was our favorite part. It overlooked Sapphire Beach Marina and St. John. The view was incredible and we overly enjoyed our morning coffee on the balcony.
We ended up liking Sapphire Beach the most! I don't know if we were biased because it was "our" beach for the week, but it was perfect. There are also 2 pools that we could use & the Sapphire Grill was not bad when we needed a quick, easy meal. We ate there our first night as we didn't get in until the nighttime. We also visited Magens Bay & Coki Beach on St. Thomas. Both had great Rum Punches!
We went to Havensight, took the skyride to the top (Paradise Point) & saw the great views of downtown Charlotte Amalie & did some shopping in Charlotte Amalie as well. Paradise Point is known for their bushwackers! We took a ferry (from Red Hook) to St. John & went to Trunk Bay (bluest water I have ever seen) & had a drink at Woodys. Took the New Horizons day charter (from Sapphire Marina) to the BVIs - The Baths at Virgin Gorda, lunch on Marina Cay, snorkeling & had the famous Pain Killer on Jost Van Dyke; One of the highlights of the trip.
The condo is conveniently located a quick taxi (or car ride) away from Red Hook. Awesome little town, safe to walk around at night & great food. We were so happy with the location. Ate at Molly Malones, Island Time Pub, Duffy's Love Shack, etc.
We did not rent a car, we took local taxis or open-air taxis and don't regret it at all. Very convenient.
I would highly recommend this property. Also, it was Christmas time when we went & the Islands were decorated which I loved! We hope to get back soon!

From the start, Jeff was great to work with for our honeymoon. We had to make a couple itinerary changes and Jeff was just so nice to work with. We had contacted several owners for our stay and Jeff was the first to respond and quick to respond to any questions. I've stayed at other condos before and this by far was in the top 3 for ease. We even had a scare that our flight home may have been changed due to "Superstorm Sandy" and Jeff was proactive in contacting us about what we could to if it was.
We had originally planned on going on a cruise for our honeymoon, I'm glad we didn't. For less than the price of the five-day cruise we wanted to go on, we were able to enjoy Jeff's & Linda's condo for almost 10 days. My husband & I were able to enjoy our own schedule instead of trying to rush around and do everything in a few hours, including just a day snorkeling with the turtles & relaxing on beautiful Sapphire Beach.
This is such a convenient location for visiting the island, just a quick bus ride to Red Hook for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and some shopping. The Safari Buses go by all the time during the day and we didn't regret not renting a car; they were actually a nice way to see some of the island and talk to other visitors and locals. We defiantly can't wait to go back to this beautiful paradise! We have already recommend to some of our friends thinking about a vacation.
Jeff, Linda, thank you again for letting us enjoy your apartment for our honeymoon!
