One week stay

1. The home was just as described, clean and well maintained.
2. The location was good for us especially coming from New Mexico as it was on the nearest end of town coming into Phoenix. Directions to get there were good.
3. The location turned out to be good for us. Two of our sons came in from Las Vegas and had no trouble finding the place.
4. The owner provided good customer service -- with the exception of internet access. A tech was to come and determine what the problem with it was, but did not make it there before we left.
5. We would recommend this property to others. The property was very well furnished including cooking utinsels, etc.
6. The gas grille outside appeared to not have been used in some time and had not been cleaned. There was a bad and strong smell of rot like that of a dead animal that was difficult to get rid of. Would recommend that the grille be steam cleaned periodically.
7. Minor negatives for an overall very positive experience. Very comfortable and nicely set up for a group of people as described.
Owner's Response: I just wanted to comment on this review;

Our internet was just down at the time and unfortunately, even the tech could not get it online before our guests left. It is back up and working fine. That was the only time someone has had a problem with the connection.

And as for the grill, it is only 1 year old and just beautiful! We have our cleaning crew clean the grill after every departure. It must have been missed, so I sent an additional $50 to my guest for the inconvience of having to clean it himself. I don't know where a bad smell could have come from in a grill that is 1 year old and cleaned all the time! No worries, it is spotless now!

This was our second stay in the E. Kelton house. We come to Scottsdale each January to work at the collector car auctions, and staying here is so much better than renting separate hotel rooms.

It's a clean, spacious, well-appointed home with everything we need to relax and enjoy ourselves away from long days of work. It houses six of us quite comfortably and its location is perfect, with quick and easy access to all of Scottsdale and Phoenix.

The property owners are wonderful, friendly people who go out of their way to make sure we have everything we need, going so far as to welcome us with snacks, beverages, and homemade treats.

We'll be back again next year, and every year after.

Excellent house

I stayed at this property mid-September 2008 while I was on business. Several other coworkers also stayed at the house. Overall the house was very nice, and the amenities were excellent. The living room has a large, flatscreen TV, and there are smaller TVs in each bedroom. There is a master bedroom with a separate bathroom that is very nice. The price was very affordable if several people stay, and it was almost more than we needed for the purpose of our trip. I liked this house a lot.

Our stay at this lovely home was June 2008. the home was a nice open floor plan and immaculate. The owners answered our questions about using the grill (we don't have a gas grill), turning on the waterfall and inquiries we had about groceries etc. in a pleasant helpful way, and didn't make us feel like we were intruding on them when we asked. I would certainly recommend this to anyone wanting a nice place to stay with great on site amenities, ie. the pool, putting green, games and movies. We also liked the privacy and having the garage. Since we have been to this area many times, we didn't take in many sites but there are certainly plenty nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and think it would be great for a larger group as well. They also have a nice big dining table great for eating and game playing. And one more thing, we were provided with some starter beverages and snacks which were great till we could get to the store.

Girls Trip - Great Stay

5 of us girls stayed in the house for our annual girl's trip. It was the perfect place to stay. We loved the open floor plan of the kitchen and living room and took full advantage of the backyard.

The place was in the perfect location. We spent the day shopping at Kierland and the night out to dinner and dancing in N. Scottsdale.

We'll definitely stay here again.
