Our beach bungalow is designed to accommodate couples or small parties wishing to enjoy the beach and Florida weather in the privacy of a home setting. Winter/Spring almost filled; so book your dates soon.The garden atmosphere has a full size heated pool and hot tub with lighted waterfall. The huge great room overlooks the garden and sets you at ease the minute you enter. We consider it our dream home and our goal is provide a vacation home to the discerning guests who are looking for something special and will appreciate it as much as we do. Every appointment has been made with loving care. And best of all, you can walk one block to the beach or anywhere nearby -, the marina, multiple restaurants, shops and the local Briny's Pub where good pub fare, music and company awaits! This home is where elegance meets comfort - we are honored to share it with considerate and caring guests. We love our European and Canadian guests!

Pompano Harness Race Track and 'The Isle' Casino newly renovated is 5 minutes west. 2 miles to public golf course (lighted holes for night golfing). Executive Airport, 5 minute drive. Ft. Lauderdale airport is a 20-minute drive and elite Las Olas Drive, with the finest restaurants and boutiques, is a short 15-minute drive. Ft. Lauderdale Beach Place is south on A1A approx. 10 minutes. Dania Jai-lai is nearby as well and provides for a fun filled exciting evening. Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is about 30 minutes south. Broward Center of the Performing Arts is near Las Olas and they have Broadway Musicals/Shows during all seasons. Many restaurants have special dinner theater menus both pre and post show.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Rates up to 4 persons (add $20 per pers per nite) - Minimum 4 night stay
  • Still have few winter dates available. Grab them before they are gone! Call for more information on last minute discounts. Although we strongly suggest weekly rates, we will consider nightly rates for fill in dates (minimum 4 nights). All rates are based on a maximum # guests (4 adults or 2 adults and 2-3 children) . See additional small fee for additional persons. Remember to inquiry early. Dates do book up quickly. Discounts are considered this year due to the economy - ask! We'll do what we can to make sure you can get away in spite of the economy. We all deserve a break and nothing relaxes you more than a day at the beach followed by a dip in the pool and an evening dip in the hot tub with a glass of wine to top it all off. Gift basket including bottle of wine provided.
  • 50% deposit is due upon reservation and the balance is due 30 days prior to rental. We have pretty normal usage electric bills for utilizing the pool heater and hot tub. An overage is charged only when electric bill exceeds normal (average) usage. Electric company can calculate when excess is used. Refunds are made: with 60 days notice of cancellation and if the dates can be re-rented. 4 nights charge will be assessed but can be applied to future stays if we are unable to rebook the dates. All rentals require a $750.00 security deposit - refundable after inspection (returned within 3 weeks of departure) or held on credit card. We accept Personal checks, Certified Checks, Visa, MasterCard, One time $20 fee is assessed for WiFi/printer/DVR cable, including unlimited long distance US/CA/PR/Carrib. . For $4.95 a world plan for long distance to Europe available to land lines (100 minutes). Calls to Euro cell phones on world plan are $.49 per min.

Other Attractions & Activities: As an alternative to the Ft. Lauderdale airport, the Palm Beach airport is 35 minutes drive and has discounted fares. Since Pompano Beach is between Ft. Lauderdale and Boca Raton it is truly the best place to be to visit both. And should you want to explore Miami's South Beach, or dine at the world famous Joe's Stonecrab Restaurant, the drive is about 45 minutes south on I-95. The beautiful FL Keys is a 2 -4 hour drive depending how far you'd like to go, but John Pennekamp Park, with its snorkel trips and glass bottom boat trips is in Key Largo and could easily be a nice day’s trip. Key West at about 4 hours, but is surely worth it! If you'd like to combine your South Coast visit with a visit to the Orlando/Disney area, we have contacts there. Will be happy to provide you with their web site. (3-4 hour trip). No matter your interests, there is always plenty to do or not to do depending on your mood. Most guests end up walking the beach & hanging out by our private pool & garden.

Additional Amenities: Unlimited long distance in US/CanadaS/P Rico/Carribean including the wi-fi/ printer/DVR cable box - all for $20 one time fee. For $4.95, 100 minutes land line calls to Europe can also be provided. (Cell call add .49 cents per minute)

Additional Rental Details: Children under 12 years of age are permitted, however, our pool is NOT fenced nor the home baby proofed. As a family ourselves, we know there are children who have been around water most of their lives, but we cannot assume any responsibility for accidents so please supervise children closely. Security system beeps when doors are opened for safety.

All guests (excluding children) must be at least 25 years or older and a copy of a driver's license must be included in the reservation deposit.

Daily or other domestic services can be provided at an additional charge (paid to cleaning lady separately) if desired. For stays of 3+ weeks, caretaker comes weekly to treat spa & hose down patio. Pool man comes twice (2 x's) weekly.

Golf:

Check on line for Pompano Beach Public Golf Course - only about 1 -2 miles away. Reasonable rates and close. Palm Aire is about 10 minutes west, public and very nice.

Other Activities:

Sporting events - Hockey Arena adjacent to Sawgrass Mills Outlet Mall in Sunrise about 20 minutes drive, Baseball, basketball and football arenas in Miami - 45 minutes away.

Everything described plus mored!

This home is a definite jewel. We stayed for 4 nights in April after a cruise and we enjoyed this beautiful home immensely. The pool, hot tub and garden swing gave us so much enjoyment we only went to the beach to walk! The house is immaculate and very well equipped. Natalie has thought of everything.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities

Great location, very accommodating owner 3/1 -8/09

The location is convenient to the all the major roads and an easy drive to Palm Beach & Ft. Lauderdale. Lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance of the house.

This home is even prettier than the pictures and super comfy. Natalie makes absolutely sure that you have everything you need and makes adjustments if possible. She was there to greet us and show us around and to take care of last minute needs. She made us feel that she really wanted us to enjoy our time there and take advantage of all the house had to offer. She's taken the time to leave little notes with information for settings on equipment or to use appliances which were really helpful for folks coming in for their first visit. And her "little kitchen that could" had everything we needed from wine glasses and serving dishes to condiments and other staples. We came down for a wedding but really loved being "slugs" the rest of the time because it was so comfy and peaceful at the house. Taking an early morning cup of coffee and heading out to the beach a block away to see the sun rise over the ocean was very special. All the information about tours, restaurants and shopping was there on the desk. If you like seafood, the shop just on the other side of the bridge was a really good recommendation from Natalie. My allergies were no problem because she really makes a special effort to keep it hypoallergenic. The lady who comes in to clean found my necklace and Natalie notified us in time for us to do a turnaround to retrieve it.

We definitely would stay here again. Thanks, Natalie, for a wonderful week.
