Oceanfront Beauty with Pool -sleeps 8-10-

Owner's Response: It was quite surprising when this guest called with compaints regarding the property. The views in the advertising are correct and the only changes have been with the linens so there should have been no question what the property and furnishings looked like. There were several communications with the guest and when she asked if I could give her a better rate since they were on a budget I worked up a rate that was acceptable. The property is well maintanined. When I was told it wasn't clean I immediately sent the housekeeper to check it out. They told her there were crumbs in the bottom of a cabinet. As for the bugs- the live ones she had in a zip lock bag- were palmetto bugs of which one had been found in the bath and the other 2 were found at the grill on the back deck. There is an outside door to the bath and this was an entrance point, as they tend to come in during wet times and there had been rain previously.

They wanted a refund, as they had stayed only 1 night and wanted it sent overnight express so they could pay for a new rental. It was sent the next day as this transpired on Sunday.

I have never had a complaint before. You can't please all the people all the time.
