Stephen and Cynthia Dubinski have owned the property since 2006. We enjoy fishing, camping, travel, and of course our horses and dogs! Stephen is an avid, and experienced hunter. He has been a professional landscape architect for 35 years, and this can be seen in the beauty of the property. Cynthia is a firefighter, and EMT for the U.S. Air Force. We love this property, and we know you'll fall in love as well.
Stephen Dubinski purchased this farmhouse in 2006
The Guest house is lovely, relaxing, and newly renovated. The ability for you to bring your pets, or board your horses make this a truly unique experience. Horses have three separate green pastures available on the back side of the property, feed and water are both readily available.
Hunters and fishermen will appreciate the ready access to three reservoirs, all VERY close, as well as the blue ribbon trout stream just a few hundred feet off the property. Excellent game areas abound! Stephen has hunted, and is familiar with the entire surrounding area. Need a hand, advice, directions? Just ask!
This property is architecturally special. When you approach the house, you are greeted with a splendid structure happily situated within the grounds. photos can only tell so much of the story... You've got to see for yourself!
I have stayed at this property 2 or 3 times now. I am a repeat guest, as there is something for everyone here. Kids have room to explore, ride horses, kayak on the pond, "camp", and go fishing. The owners are animal lovers, have showed my kids how to feed horses, and dogs are gladly welcomed. This is a peaceful retreat, in a beautiful setting. Its location makes it a good base camp for a multitude of activities in the surrounding areas. The guest house is attached to the main house by a breezeway, which gives you a feeling of privacy with your own entrance. Its clean and comfortable, has all the amenities of home. The owners have assisted me when I've forgotten some items, and made great suggestions for some good hiking. I am an amateur photographer and have also used the property for informal photo sessions. My favorite spot is sitting on the dock overlooking the pond! We'll be back this summer in fact...
fantastic getaway with everything we needed! brought our dog, and he had a great time running all over the vast amount of land. awesome architechurally designed house and guest house with tons of room and comfy beds. great hospitality! loved the hot tub! we want to go back in the summer. would recommend to anyone.
We had a great stay with our 3 aussies. It is hard enough to find places that accept pets and most will limit you to 2 maximum. This is the only place we have found where we can bring all our dogs and they can run to their hearts content in the 3 acre fenced area and swim in the pond. We come here for the dogs but it is great fun for the humans too. Great fishing. It is great to sit by the pond with a cocktail. Love the grill on the patio and the hot tub under millions of stars. It is a unique get away and one we will enjoy time and again. Thanks Stephen and Cynthia!
Our family of four (plus one dog) had a very comfortable, very enjoyable two-night stay at the guest house of this horse ranch, which is a pretty big deal for us. Our six-year-old son has autism, so vacations are a tricky deal. Everything on this vacation, though, worked out well, even though we made our reservation a mere week before our stay.
The property is better than the pictures on the website show. The pond is beautiful and peaceful with a lovely little dock and kayaks. The main room of the guest house is big and has vaulted ceilings, and the whole place is very nice for a "farmhouse."
Cindy and Stephen were wonderful hosts who made their whole property, outside of their personal residence, available for our use. Cindy even bought our dog a toy, and he had a good time playing with the host dogs.
Our only disappointment was that the hot tub was not available for our visit, but we completely understand why. The hosts had had a death in the family right before our stay, and they had hosted other family members on the nights leading up to our stay. They were very gracious to have everything else ready for us on very short notice.
We highly recommend this proporty to couples, families with children, and people with developmental or cognitive disabilities. The terrain is too tough for people with physical restrictions. And, absolutely, a great getaway if you want to bring your pets.
Seven acres of horse property, the perfect place to rest yourself, and your horses while on the way to the show! Three pastures on site, as well as a barn with two available stalls. Feed and water are readily available.
