All outdoor and ocean activities are in very close proximity to Beach House Oxnard. Whale watching excursion and sport fishing, scuba diving, kayaking, sailboating, boogie boarding, swimming as well as surfing and other beach activities are all here. Short drives to Santa Barbara (less than 1 hour away), Ojai, Santa Ynez (wine tasting), Ventura, Malibu, Camarillo (outlet shopping), Thousand Oaks, Hollywood, Los Angeles offer numerous day trips.

Don't Miss The Fun at the Beach in Oxnard

We brought the whole family and friends of the kids and they all said they wanted to come back for a month next time. A beautiful public beach that seemed private just for us. Lots of great amentities with the house that made it seem just like our home away from home. We can't wait to come back again.

This home was perfect for our family gathering! We had a full house of 12 and there was plenty of room for everyone to gather and still have private time when they wanted it. This place has everything you could ever need for any length of stay. The kitchen was excellently equipped and we all enjoyed the "toys" in the garage, especially the bikes and ping pong table. We would definitely stay again. Thanks Debbie for offering a great home away from home.

Another Great Stay

My family enjoyed another great stay. The house is in a very nice quiet neighborhood, and is just a short walk to the beach. With the house being a tri-level, it affords a lot of privacy for a large group. We also enjoyed the addition of the beach cruiser bicycles, and putting green in the front yard. While we were there, we were able to go to the Farmer's Market and classic car show just down the street at the harbor, then onto the Salsa Festival in downtown Oxnard all in the same day and just a short distance from the house. I hope I can gather the family again next year for another visit.

Great home, great value, great neighborhood

We rented for a week in June and enjoyed ourselves. The home is in a very nice and very quiet neighborhood, which was just what we wanted. No screaming kids, no loud music/parties, no barking dogs etc. It was a three minute walk to the lovely, quiet, clean beach. The nearby homeowners were extremely courteous and quiet. The home came with beach cruiser bicycles, which was an added bonus and had a garage for our car (also a nice bonus,) the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms clean and spacious with a full kitchen, dining area and wireless internet. We also rented the accompanying guesthouse for friends who joined us and it was an excellent bargain and quite nice as well. The home is an easy, quick drive (five hours) from Northern California and the Oxnard/Ventura coast area doesn't suffer from as much traffic congestion as central L.A.

The home is a tri-level, duplex that was centrally located and an easy drive to Malibu, L.A. and Santa Barbara. Nice local shopping and dining (Vons, Ralphs, Yolandas Mexican Restaurant, Costco, Camarillo Shopping Outlets etc.) The owners were excellent to work with and very helpful. We will comeback and recommend this property.

Wonderful visit to Oxnard!

The house was clean and beautifully decorated, and the views from the decks were amazing. Not to mention being only blocks from the clean,deserted beach! There are lots of things to do just minutes from the house, and the owners put together a wonderful vacation guide to direct you to good restaurants and attractions nearby. Everything (and more) you might think you need on vacation (even nail polish remover!) was available!
For the first time on vacation, the whole family slept! The kids were comfy and slept great (unlike in a hotel) in the third bedroom on the top floor. It was so luxurious to have all that space on vacation. The only thing that I didn't realize when looking at the property online is that it does share a wall with the adjacent property- we had to be mindful of the noise level.
Overall, one of the best experiences we have had with traveling with our kids! You won't be disappointed in this rental property.
