This 3 story, 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home (with 1+1 guest house available with rental of main house) offers a beach getaway that has it all - at a great rate! A large beautiful deck with ocean views from one of the 3rd floor decks.

Just steps from the sand and ocean, this is a wonderful home away from home experience at the beach. This house includes a fully equipped kitchen, refrid/ice maker, cooking utensils, pots & pans, washer, dryer, dishwasher, garage, BBQ, cable, Internet, towels & linens. Leave the shampoo, blow dryer and all that at home, this vacation rental is fully stocked with the essentials and necessities. This little gem of a beach town is located just south of Channel Islands Harbor between Santa Barbara and Malibu/Los Angeles in Ventura County. As the 'New York Times' article states 'Oxnard is the Un-Malibu'.

Having lived and worked in other beach communities, the small town feel and sense of community is second to none here in the Silver Strand Beach of Oxnard. Having the home as a vacation rental allows me and my family to still enjoy this wonderful beach along with being able to share it with others.

This 3 story house is ideal for vacation renting and short term stays. Beach House Oxnard is in Silverstrand Beach in Oxnard CA. Channel Islands Harbor is a short distance from this great house. It neighbors to Hollywood by the Sea, Mandalay Beach, and Oxnard Shores communities, as well as the U.S. Navy base in Port Hueneme and the City of Ventura.

All outdoor and ocean activities are in very close proximity to Beach House Oxnard. Whale watching excursion and sport fishing, scuba diving, kayaking, sailboating, boogie boarding, swimming as well as surfing and other beach activities are all here. Short drives to Santa Barbara (less than 1 hour away), Ojai, Santa Ynez (wine tasting), Ventura, Malibu, Camarillo (outlet shopping), Thousand Oaks, Hollywood, Los Angeles offer numerous day trips.

We brought the whole family and friends of the kids and they all said they wanted to come back for a month next time. A beautiful public beach that seemed private just for us. Lots of great amentities with the house that made it seem just like our home away from home. We can't wait to come back again.

Enjoyed being close to the Beach

We were in Oxnard for a family wedding, and enjoyed being close to the beach. We took early morning walks on the beach, and enjoyed seeing the surf and the birds.

The house was comfortable; the kitchen was well equipped. The property was clean and well maintained.

Perfect Laber Day Vacation House

Wonderful Vacation Home

Our stay ( 12 of us) at this location was one of the best experiences we have ever had, this was the perfect house, everything in order and nice and clean, very comfortable beds, clean sheets, plenty of towels, full kitchen with all utensils needed, ready to jump into the ocean, soft sandy beach, beautiful sunsets, with perfect 360 round view, just gorges. Such good location, did not need to go sit seeing.

Outstanding Vacation Home

For years our family has been tent campers. This year my husband and I decided that we no longer wanted to sleep on the ground, so we held a family conference call to propose a change. My sons-in-law immediately said "beach house". Everyone agreed so I began an internet search for a house as close to the beach as I could get for 12 people. Quickly, I found this home which met everyone of our needs. The reservation process was very easy. Upon our arrival, everyone was very excited to find such a lovely home. The grandkids loved the bikes, the ping pong table and kayak. The closet was loaded with family games and there was a television in every bedroom. The men in my family love to cook. They were delighted to find a fully stocked kitchen. Upon seeing the crab pot in the kitchen, they went to the Farmer's Market in search of "fresh crab". While we had a wonderful dinner, this turned out to be a "cooking experience" for the grandkids!
While there is much to do that this home, there is also lots to do in the area. One day the grandsons went paint balling. Another day, the granddaughters took surf board lessons. Six people went on a day long fishing trip and some of us went to lunch and a movie. One afternoon, I enjoyed the roof-top lounge area and read a book. Upon leaving, we all agreed that it was time to give up camping. We want to come back to this home again and again. Oh ....... did I say the beach was beautiful. Every day was a beach day. Thanks for a great family vacation week.

The Best New Year eve , ever !!!!

Hmm.... Where do I start from? Ok, let's talk about Two things - "Host" and the "House" .
Right from the first call to Debbie to inquire about availability, to the last call to leave a "Thank You" note, it was a very pleasant experience. She is the most awesome host you could ever find.. She was so patient in answering all our trivial questions that we planned a hassle-free vacation for a group of 10 ( note that this is our first rental).. I wouldn't give a second thought to contact her, if I am planning a vacation at Oxnard again (and Yes, I am already thinking to go back in Summer :) )

And this place, has everything you are looking for on a vacation. From the small golf area in the front yard to the big deck on the third floor to hang out/barbecue, it is very well planned. Kitchen is stacked up (I had to return 50% of the un-used items we bought), spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds, guest-house an awesome addition, Garage stacked up with everything that you need at the beach... We were a group of 10 + 2 infants and still had a lot of space to find .

I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a vacation home in ventura area.. Go for it...
