House, 3 Bedrooms + Den, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 6-8)

Wonderful mountain get-away positioned adjacent to the Appalachian Ski Mountain Ski Resort! Hike to waterfalls or the profile of Grandfather mountain, fishing ,boating, Zipline,and Tweetsie Railroadand are great summer activities. Skiing, snowboarding and ice skating are all just a few steps away in the winter. AMAZING.. dining experiences all within a few miles of our mountain home.

This is our vacation home at approximately 4000 feet of elevation on Appalachian Ski Mountain in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Our three-level three bedroom/ three bath mountain home features an open floor plan with cathedral ceilings and exposed beams, 3rd level loft, slate and cedar bathrooms, brand new kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances, 46” flat screen television in great room, Unlimited Netflix live streaming movies, Internet television, additional den with fire place on lower level, and a spacious multi-level deck with Hot Springs brand hot tub for six people. Perfect for family, couples or a group of friends.

We are conveniently located on a private road at Appalachian Ski Mountain, off U.S. Hwy 321, between Blowing Rock and Boone. Nearby are Grandfather Mountain, Linville, Banner Elk and Beech Mountain. The house is easily accessible and within 5 minutes of downtown Blowing Rock, Tanger outlets and the wonderful Blue Ridge Parkway.

Come experience each season in the 'High Country.” In winter, our home is right next to snow skiing, ice skating and night skiing . This house features a wonderful stone fireplace in the lower level and a wood burning stove on the 2nd level with a view of the fire that keeps the house cozy. There is also a hot tub for relaxation therapy and warming up after a long run on the slopes.

During spring, relax and take in the wonderful climate change. In summer, escape the heat and enjoy the cooler mountain temperatures for the entire summer with the long term rental plan. Fall foliage is spectacular, outside our windows and the Blue Ridge Parkway just 5 minutes away.

No matter the time of year, you will enjoy your time and find plenty to do while visiting our home in Blowing Rock, NC.

This home is in the perfect location for skiing at Appalachian. You are just steps from the parking lot for the resort and the slopes. The home has been recently renovated with lovely stone tiles in all of the bathrooms. The kitchen had pretty cabinets, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. It is very well decorated in a modern/lodge style. Not too country/ktichy. If there is snow on the ground the parking may be a bit tricky. The driveway is narrow and somewhat steep. The floor plan lends itself well to two families. The downstairs bedroom has a sitting room with a pull out sofa. The upstairs bedroom has a loft above it. Dennis was easy to work with and responsive. We would happily go back again.

Great Family Reunion

Joe was right on! we had no problem with directions. The accomodations were perfect, clean, .appealing, great decor. Having the hot tub in the evening was like icing on the cake. The surronding area and local shops were wonderful. There is an array of antique shops, boutiques and local art, but the best part was being in the mountains. It was breath-taking! All couples have plans on returning to this same chalet in the future.

We rented this wonderful house for my daughter's 18th birthday. We would highly recommend it to anyone, for every aspect of the rental was positive. The house is just (or better) than pictures capture. It was very clean, nicely decorated and well kept. The owner was responsive and timely to all communications and the location was perfect! Kids could walk to the ski slope and we all enjoyed the family room and hot tub! Our experience couldn't have been better! It even began to snow as we left. Thank you Joe for sharing your lovely mountain house with us!

The house is located in a wonderful location with amazing views and just an all around perfect getaway. The house is stunning inside and relaxing in the hottub overlooking the mountains is just what my wife and I needed. The children loved being able to walk to the ski slope. The house had everything we needed and we were 100% satisfied and will definitely be coming back this year. Thanks again Joe, you were a pleasure to deal with and made everything so easy for us.
