Deer beach is a custom designed waterfront log home on Lake Anna with over 4000 sq ft of luxury. It features 2 master bedrooms, its own naturally occuring sand beach, a deep water dock and a movie theater!

Deer Beach Lodge is located in the upscale community of The Waters at Lake Anna. The Water’s offers paved roads throughout the community, private boat launch, swimming pool,

and tennis courts.

Located on the private side of the lake, you’ll never have to worry

about boat traffic jetting by or finding a quiet place for water

skiing or tubing. A private community boat launch awaits you.

Launch you boat or jet skis and tie them up to our dock for the rest of your vacation.

Deer Beach Lodge is sitting on 2 acres of serenity with panoramic views of the lake. Every bedroom has a view of the lake! Deer Beach Lodge also offers an expanded natural sand beach for your private use right on the property. We spared no expense when we built our dream home.

Historic Sites: Charlottesville: Deer Beach Lodge is centrally located so you can enjoy the historic sites of Virginia. Take time to visit the historic Charlottesville area. The City was founded in 1762 is named after Princess Sophia Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, the wife of King George III of England. The area has an incredibly rich history that draws millions of visitors every year with three presidental homesteads in the area: Monticello, home of Thomas Jefferson, Ashlawn-Highlands, home of James Monroe, and Montpelier, home of James Madison. Also located in Charlottesville is the renowned University of Virginia.

Historic Sites: Richmond and Williamsburg: If you travel each from Deer Beach Lodge in roughly an hour you will come to Richmond, VA. Enjoy a visit to the historic state capital of Virginia. Just a short dirve past Richmond is Colonial Williamsburg. Take the time to walk the same streets once walked by George Washinton and Thomas Jefferson. The Historic Area of Colonial Williamsburg stretches over 301 acres, and includes 88 original 18th-century structures. Hundreds of houses, shops and public outbuildings are reconstructed on their original foundations.

Wine Tours: Vineyards in this region include Keswick Vineyards at the historic Edgewood estate. Barboursville Vineyards, established in 1976 by the largest family-held winemaking enterprise in Italy, is located near the Barboursville Ruins. The ruins were once a fine residence designed by Thomas Jefferson for his friend James Barbour, who served as a Virginia governor, U.S. senator and secretary of war. The Kluge Estate Winery & Vineyard, situated at the foot of Carter's Mountain, was established in 1999 and is already producing some excellent wines. And don't forget to visit Lake Anna Winery which is just 15 minutes.

There is plenty to do at Deer Beach Lodge all year round. Come in the summer for swimming, tubing and boating. Come in the fall to enjoy the fall foliage or take a wine tour during harvest time. Come anytime to just relax or head out fishing.

Deer Beach Lodge has over 165 feet of shoreline as well as a natural sand beach with natural shallow water walking off the sand. Just a great place for children.

Nearby attractions include golfing, hiking and Paramount Kings Dominion Amusement Park or take time to visit key historical US sites including Monticello or Charlottesville all just a short distance away.

Boat rentals, jet ski rentals, and marina services are all available nearby and will deliver right to our boat launch.

For shoppers, Fredericksburg's and Richmond's shopping malls are just 35 to 45 minutes away. Antiquing is everywhere along the county roads all around the Lake Anna area.

Hiking is available in the Lake Anna State Park.

  • All of our bathrooms contain upscale ceramic tiles including wall tile in all showers and surrounding all bathtubs, luxury vanities, sinks and fixtures. We designed our home to offer the most amount of privacy for each guest bedroom and limited bathroom sharing. 1) Bathroom 1 has a separate soaking tub and oversized stand up shower. This is a private bath for the main floor master bedroom 1. 2) Bathroom 2 has an oversized soaking tub with shower and two sinks located on a large vanity. This is the private bath for main floor master bedroom 2. 3) Bathroom 3 is on the upper loft level and also has an oversized soaking tub with shower. This bath is connected to Bedroom 3 plus has loft access for Bedroom 4. 4) Bathroom 4 is on the lower level and has a large stand up shower with vanity/sink and toilet.

  • Our home offers two separate main floor Masters each with their own private full baths and walk-in closets that grant extra privacy for all of our guests. The home has 5 Bedrooms (2 Masters) with 4.5 bathrooms. Our homes MAX capacity is 14 assuming no more than 10 adults within the group. All of our bedrooms are fully furnished with beds (cover, blanket & pillows - but not sheets), nights stands, dressers, lamps, and alarm clocks. Both upper level bedrooms have ceiling fans and we also included a ceiling fan in the lower level bedroom. The lower level is ideal for large groups of children and teens with a private bedroom that sleeps up to 6 plus a pull out sofa bed. Located in the basement is theatre room for late night movies or rain days.

The rear deck offers over 1000 sq ft of space with plenty of outdoor seating and room to spare. 4) 2 Story Great room with floor to ceiling stone fireplace is the focal point of our home; 5) 2 full size fridges plus lower level bar with bar fridge, wine fridge and extra microwave provides plenty of room for a hungry clan; plenty of games will keep everyone occupied.

This lake house is wonderful inside and out! The rooms are furnished so nicely. It has all the amenities that you could want including a home theater room. We enjoyed the lake view and it was easy to walk to and from the house on the gently sloping pathway. I hope that we can get back soon!

Our family has gathered at Deer Beach Lodge for five consecutive years and plan to do so again in 2013. The property has everything we are looking for, including a wonderful water-front area with beach, home theater, well supplied kitchen and large dining and living room areas. The community is very nice and offers a great area for walks or bike-riding. It is easily the most anticipated week for our family every year because everyone can relax together and do their own thing. We are already looking forward to our return trip.

Best Place Ever!!!

We have rented several homes for family vacation in the last couple years and this is BY FAR the best we have ever had. It was so clean and organized. The house just feels like a home as soon as you walk in. The weekend on the lake was busy but the rest of the week it felt like we almost had it to ourselves. We spent the majority of the time down at the boat house, fishing swimming, sunning and just relaxing.

We lucked out and had beautiful weather. The kids loved the theater room. The whole family had a wonderful time and we felt like crying when we left. We definitely decided that this is where we want to go back to!!

Had a great time. Kids loved fishing off the dock and playing on the beach. Had a great time! Felt like home away from home. We had a tremendous time together and a splendid vacation. Thanks for everything.
