Views from everywhere inside chalet-style log cabin -- even when cold outside you still see views! Great family summer vacation cabin! Ridgetop cabin with panoramic views of Wears Valley and the Smoky Mountains to the south and west, toward Gatlinburg, Smokies, and Pigeon Forge to the north and east. Close enough to everything, yet secluded and peaceful. Private swimming pool is shared by only 8 cabins. Cabin and ridge-top walkway have spectacular view to the valley and the Smoky Mountains. Near the top of beautiful Cove Mountain which borders the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.

Wheelchair accessible: When we had the opportunity to rebuild, we decided to make this first-class luxury cabin accessible to all. There are ramps to the front and back decks, and the main level sleeps 4 (king bedroom and queen sleeper sofa). The kitchen counters are a few inches lower than 'usual' and the microwave is under the counter. There is a Wii in the Great Room for activities if one cannot make it up to the game room loft (but if you can -- there is room for a wheelchair to get around up there). The bathrooms have ADA height commodes, and main level has a walk-in/roll-in shower. Really nice for everyone!

Decorated for the Holidays!: Eagles View will be decorated from December - February with a 6' Christmas tree and other seasonal decorations. Spend the holidays or WinterFest at this luxurious cabin.

Perfect vacation. Handicapped accessible as described. Breathtaking views. Kids were never bored. Already planning to go again next year.
Owner's Response: We were so lucky to be able to build our two cabins from the ground up to accommodate wheelchairs! We have a neighbor who gave us great advice, such as positioning the microwave under the countertop for easy access.

When you walk in, the smell of pine is such a reminder of where you are. Everything is as described by owners. I can't seem to put in words what a wonderful time we had and the memories along with the pictures are priceless. Thanks to Connie & Paul for sharing. The accessibility is so accommodating. People that stay in town are so missing out on the beauty inside & outside the cabin. Going here has made us want to return & we are not people that ever go anywhere... Thanks so much for changing us...

Beautiful cabin. The view is absolutely awesome. My friends and I enjoyed just sitting in the rocking chairs and looking at the scenery. It was so peaceful. My best friend's husband is wheelchair bound and he really enjoyed the cabin. Everything was made just right for a wheelchair. He was able to manuever very easily and he loved the kitchen where everything was within his reach. He said it felt like home. Great cabin! Great vacation!!

This was our 2nd stay at Eagles View. We had such a good time in the spring of 2008, we decided to return for my parent's 62nd wedding anniversary and my birthday. It was an awesome stay. We had a lovely snow and the mountain views were beautiful. It was just like being in a winter wonderland. We felt so warm and cozy in our winter cabin! The handicap accessibility is wonderful for my mother who is in a wheelchair. It is also great that we can take our small miniature schnauzer, Dumplin. He loves being in front of the fireplace doggie dreamin'. When you are in the cabin you are surrounded by views out of this world. The cabin is extremely clean and well stocked. They've thought of everything! The cabin has everything you need for relaxation and it makes it very hard to leave. You are away from it all, yet have plenty of shopping and sightseeing close to you down in the valley. We hope to go back for a third trip. We highly recommend this cabin. It was delightful to deal with Connie as we made our travel arrangements. As usual, she was helpful and considerate of all our needs. Thanks so much for making our trip memorable.

Perfect "Get Away from it All!"

What an awesome place to get away from it all for a few days after the hustle and bustle of the holidays. The views are amazing and everything was in place for a wonderful relaxing weekend to recharge for the new year. The decor is very attractive and everything is so well coordinated. I saw a new decorative accent everytime I looked around all weekend I think!

Although we did not need either of these accomodations, the cabin is very well suited for someone in a wheelchair, or who just might have a few mobility issues. Everything would be very easy for someone to access that might need these accomodations. Your four legged furry friends would also have a wonderful time exploring the cabin if accompanying you on your trip.

There are plenty of things to keep even the most active person busy. The wii with games, the pool table, hot tub, and all the books, movies, games, and cds were enough to entertain all. The high definition televisions with satellite were great!

We truly enjoyed our little end of the holiday get away and came home relaxed and ready to start a new year. Thank you so for sharing your wonderful cabin.
