Primitive Fishing Cave, not a family spot

I have to say that we did not use the outside features and those might have been just fine. What we found when we arrived (4 adults) was a coffee filter full of old coffee grounds and mold, somebody else's boxer shorts and other laundry on the dryer and all the pans in the kitchen were badly damaged. We were there to celebrate our daughter's graduation from Army Basic Training and wanted to give her a place to have a home cooked meal, do her laundry and relax. We managed to accomplish that despite the condition of the place. The furnishings looked like left overs from a garage sale, there were lots of personal papers and items in the house and it just wasn't very clean feeling. It would be a great place with a little care and updating. Guys on a fishing trip who would be happy camping, would probably find this place a decent value, but if you have momma's cooking for their family, don't let them into this kitchen! We washed everything before we used it since it wasn't clear the owner made sure things are clean between renters. There is a reason there are not many clear pictures of the inside of this place. Don't plan on putting your stuff in the closets here...no hangers, junk is stored in the closets, etc. Sorry, wish my review could have been better!

Owner's Response: There is one and only one valid complaint here: my cleaning people apparently missed cleaning the coffee pot.
The rest appears to be nothing more than retaliation for expecting the contractual terms and conditions to be respected. These people left a day early because of airline schedules, and told me that this was the reason. Then they asked for a refund after it was impossible to rent the time that they had reserved.
The laundry area is a common area used by both units, and for keeping amenities that are available to both units. People get what they want to use from that area, and store what they do not want to use in that area. This was explained. The kitchen pans include many that are new, but also include others that are not new. There are enough to choose what you like.
The number of pictures on the web page are the maximum number allowed, but a photo bucket webpage, with 60 more photos, is emailed in all of my responses. Coat hangers are moved back and forth from the common laundry area as desired by the occupants. No complaints were made while these people were here. This ploy was presented after departure along with a request for a refund, due to leaving one day early to get the plane that they wanted.
It is interesting that the only negative review that we have EVER had came from someone who tried to get money back after leaving for a reason unrelated to our property. The summary of this review is one sentence: "Give us money or we will hurt you." When my grandfather was young the people who did this kind of thing only wanted a dollar a week, and they threatened much worse things than this. My grandfather refused to pay and he survived.
