Plenty to see within Walking Distance of the apartment (3 block's), with Whistler Mountains just North of the city. Seymour, Grouse and Cypress mountain's are on the North Shore providing excellent skiing a good part of the year.

Together with Vancouver Island, just a 3 hour bus and ferry ride into Victoria - the Capital of the Province. Butchard Garden's and rest of the island is just north of there along the Malahat Highway to Nanaimo, Campbell River, Tofino and other great fishing area's are available.

Within the area: Yaletown is built on the Expo 86 site. Anyone that was here at that time, is familiar with the location and how close it is to everything, especially to restaurants, theatres, shopping, Word Famous Stanley Park, Aquarium, sports and almost any out-door activity you can think of. The Aquarius complex includes five restaurants and deli's, a Starbucks, UrbanFair Grocery store, a liquor, store, bank, Post Office, a walk-in Medical & Dentist's offices, a 20 seat theatre and a recreation area with a large screen T.V. and Pool table. The area is within walking distance to many more restaurant's, parks and is within walking distance to downtown

Refurbished Floors and New Furniture: We have recently purchased a new Chesterfield with Chaise Lounge & Lazy-boy seating and Side Chair made of Natuzzi Leather. New Hardwood Flooring in the Living/dinning room, 2nd Bedroom and Hallway with Plush Carpeting in the Master Bedroom & walkin closet for your comfort. We also have a new Queen Size Mattress/Box Spring in the 2nd bedroom with another Queen size Obus air mattress/bed available for parties of 5 or 6.

Ski:

With 3 Ski area's on our North Shore, Seymour, Grouse and Cypress Mountains, Plus Whistler/Black Comb (A 1 hour & 45 Minute Drive from Vancouver).

Other Activities:

Tennis, Basketball & Roller Boarding parks near by.

Absolutely Fabulous !

My teen-ag son and I stayed in this condo for the entire month of July, 2011. As we have been living abroad for many years, we come home to Vancouver every summer to visit our family and friends so it's really important for us to have a place we can call home while we are there. We have stayed in other condos but this one was really absolutely fabulous. The location was perfect being only steps away from the seawall, the sea bus, the main shopping avenues and of course all the wonderful restaurants in Yaletown. Very trendy "Urban Fair", the gourmet super-market is right at the foot of the building and you can even reach it underground just in case its raining.

The apartment is extremely comfortable, very well maintained, with all the amenities one could possibly want or need. Wireless internet, HD TV's and channels galore in each bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, super comfy leather sofa that you practically melt in once seated, but the best was definitely the over sized deck with its tasteful patio furniture and high-tech bar-b-q.

Knowing the city well, we have always found great condos to stay during our holidays in Vancouver, but this one is really is a gem, and we will never stay anywhere else again. We have already reserved for the month of July next year.

What more can I say? If you are looking for a great place to spend your holidays in Vancouver, whether it be one week or one month, my recommendation is: definitely reserve this one!

You will find that the owners are a pleasure to deal with and they go out of their way to make sure you are happy.

Yaletown Condo-Great Location!

The three of us just spent 5 nights in Vancouver and we really enjoyed this condo. Everything is in excellent condition. The condo has modern appliances and is very secure. There is a land line and the owner allowed us to make free long distance calls to the U.S. as long as it was to another land line. The location is the best-close to great restaurants, many in the same block or just across the street. We went to Urban Fare grocery in the same block most mornings and some evenings for whatever food we needed for the day. The condo is only steps away from the water where we enjoyed walking all up and down the marina and loved watching the people and the dogs. The ferry to Granville Island is right across the street. The Canada Line rail stop is just across the street in the other direction. We were able to get anywhere we wanted to in Vancouver on public transportation and never needed a rental car or taxi. We had fantastic weather with very little rain. It was a perfect getaway from the start of another humid Texas summer.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Fabulous patio!

This condo was GREAT! From booking it, to meeting the owners, to accommodating 6 adults for a week. It was a great experience. Our Vancouver vacation was amazing! The building is so close to parks, restaurants and shopping.

Upon arrival the owners met us and gave us a quick tour of the building and surrounding area. The security is monitored by sensor keys making the condo very safe. During the week we used some amenities such as the grill, fitness room, pool and jacuzzi.

The patio at this property is absolutely the crown jewel. All other condos must have patio envy. We spent a lot of time on the patio. It was almost like another room. It is bigger and better than the others!

I would definitely recommend this condo and would love to book another trip in the future.

Perfect location

Could not be a better location. Right next to water, bike paths, bike rental, great luxury grocery, good restaurants, yoga studio, spa, shopping and sea ferries. FABULOUS patio. Didn't even need a car - everything is walking distance. Clean, comfortable, comfy beds, good kitchen, very nice owners and we'll definitely rent this again. Only thing it didn't have was local phone service but we used our cell phones so it didn't really matter.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

Fantastic dondo in Yaletown!!

Awesome place in Yaletown, right on water, great amenities, and had the best balcony in entire condo building. Close to great restaurants, shopping, market, and liquor stores. Owners were so kind, friendly, and helpful! Right smack in the middle of all you will want to see! I would definitely stay here again!!
